As a symbol of the originality and continuity of the Yellow River culture,Chinese characters are rooted in the Yellow River culture and carry a rich connotation of the Yellow River culture,and the spread of Chinese character culture is an important form of transmission of the Yellow River culture and the Yellow River spirit.Promoting the cross-cultural communication of Chinese character culture helps to strengthen the cultural exchange between China and foreign countries and "tell the story of China and inherit the spirit of Yellow River".The thesis explores the path and strategy of cross-cultural communication of Chinese traditional culture based on new media technology,with the aim of better serving the strategy of "going out" of Chinese culture,promoting cultural self-confidence and self-improvement,and enhancing the international influence of Chinese culture.In this paper,we will discuss the following issues.Based on the connotation of the concept of intercultural communication of Chinese characters from the perspective of Yellow River culture inheritance,this study first analyzes the inner logic of Yellow River culture inheritance and intercultural communication of Chinese characters,and concludes that Yellow River culture is an important soil for the growth of Chinese characters culture,and Chinese characters are an important carrier for the inheritance of Yellow River culture,and promoting intercultural communication of Chinese characters culture can effectively contribute to the inheritance of Yellow River culture.Secondly,through a review of relevant literature,this study finds that although Chinese character culture has a long history of overseas diffusion and is a bridge for overseas people to understand traditional Chinese culture,there are some difficulties in the process of cross-cultural diffusion of Chinese character culture.On the one hand,Chinese character culture itself has a long history and rich meaning,and carries many cultural connotations and diplomatic missions,but it is difficult to visualize the abstract cultural connotations;on the other hand,there are limitations in the communication subjects,contents,and channels,such as weak knowledge of Chinese character culture and lack of cross-cultural communication awareness among some communication subjects;the cultural connotations of Chinese characters are deflated and the communication contents are not creative enough;and the digital iron screen background is not creative enough.The effect of cross-cultural communication needs to be further improved because of the limited communication channels in the context of digital iron curtain.Finally,this study proposes an optimization strategy for cross-cultural communication of Chinese character culture,and discusses the advantages of cross-cultural communication of Chinese character culture empowered by H5 technology,including "diversification of communication mode: integration of elements,popularization of communication angle: close communication distance,interactivity of scene design: enhance participation,and setting up sharing mechanism: activate community communication,The study is based on four aspects,including " diversification of communication modes:integration of elements;popularization of communication angles: closer communication distance;interactivity of scene design: enhancing participation;and setting up sharing mechanism: activating community communication.This study mainly adopts a combination of theory and practice,using literature survey method,field survey method and case study method as the main research methods,and the theory of cultural diversity and high and low context theory in cross-cultural communication as the main theoretical basis,to explore how Chinese character culture in the new media era in the process of cross-cultural communication should avoid harm and give new life,in order to help the Yellow River culture transmission and dissemination at the same time.The aim is to promote the transmission and dissemination of Chinese culture,to promote the outreach of China’s excellent traditional culture,and to enhance cultural confidence in the process of mutual appreciation of civilizations.
