The Musical Characteristics And Performance Analysis Of Yang Shanle’s 《Summer Night》

Yang Shanle is a famous composer in our country.In 1952,he composed“Summer Night” based on the music of“Dihua Drum” in Anxiang,Hunan province,it was later transplanted by Professor Shen Xi-ti to play on the viola.It is rare to play the viola as a solo instrument.Its development in our country is later than that of the violin,chinese music for the viola is also rare.The viola repertoire we are familiar with includes“Romance”,“Pastoral”,“Summer Night” and so on,all of which draw on strong national elements,on the hearing has the national color particularity extremely.In this paper,the Chinese music“Summer Night” music characteristics and performance analysis as the main object of study,through the study and discussion of the performer’s life and creative background,the composition structure and creative technique of the works,and the self-learning experience when playing the viola,to deepen the understanding of the background of works and explore new ideas of music performance processing,to provide reference and help for learners and performers,to promote learners to understand our music works.
