| In the context of media integration,cross-media narrative works with games as the source media spring up like mushrooms.In terms of marketing,they can form viscous flow with the brand influence of games,providing guarantee for the continuous development of IP value.On the narrative level,the strong participation and interaction of games can save material and momentum for creating a grand and wonderful story world.However,the creation of works in this field still faces many challenges.Among the vast number of works,League of Legends is undoubtedly a high-quality example of cross-media narrative in game IP,and an excellent case for research in related fields.It is divided into four parts: the first part is to clarify related concepts,clarify the scope of the research,and lay a theoretical foundation for the subsequent research;The second part illustrates the construction logic of the story world of League of Legends from the perspective of cross-media narration.The third part,taking "League of Legends" as an example,summarizes its practical operation path from the game "crossing" to animation;The fourth part,inspired by the success of IP cross-media narrative of League of Legends,summarizes the current situation and deficiencies of the creation of works in relevant fields in China,and provides strategies and suggestions for reference,so as to provide certain ideas for the creation of cross-media narrative works in Chinese game IP.This paper takes the cross-media narrative theory as the core,takes the story world construction as the perspective,takes League of Legends as the case,deeply analyzes its cross-media narrative strategy and path.The research results are helpful to deepen the understanding of the cross-media narrative theory,and have reference significance for the creation of cross-media narrative works in game IP. |
