In the context of the national vocational education reform,the Ministry of Education promulgated and implemented the "Teaching Standards for Music Major in Secondary Vocational Schools(Trial)" to guide the implementation and reform of music major courses in secondary vocational schools.Among them,the training requirements for talents specified in the document are consistent with the content of the development of Chinese students’ core qualities.This requires teachers to cultivate students’ comprehensive ability as the goal,pay attention to students’ artistic quality,innovative spirit,practical ability and other aspects of training and promotion.This paper takes the students majoring in music performance of secondary vocational schools as the research object,and discusses how to develop the core quality of the students of this major.The basic course of piano in secondary vocational school(piano course for short)plays an important role in the course of music performance major,and the teaching of piano is an important means to cultivate the core quality of the students of music performance major.But from the actual situation,the overall quality of piano teaching in secondary vocational schools is weak,and many problems need to be solved urgently.Therefore,this paper will discuss the current situation of piano teaching of music performance major in secondary vocational schools under the threshold of core literacy,find out teaching problems,put forward countermeasures and suggestions,and carry out teaching design.The methods used in this study include literature research,questionnaire survey and interview survey.Through literature retrieval and reading,the research status at home and abroad is analyzed.Relevant data are obtained through questionnaires and interviews,and on this basis,existing problems are analyzed: teachers do not have a deep understanding of core literacy;In teaching,students lack of core quality training attention;The diversity of teaching forms,methods and strategies is insufficient.A series of problems such as inadequate use of teaching equipment and resources.To solve the above problems,the author puts forward the following countermeasures:strengthening the theoretical and practical research of core literacy;Enriching teaching methods,strategies and forms,using multi-dimensional synesthesia to guide students’ perception and aesthetic appreciation;Skillfully use creative expression to carry out various forms of practical activities;Make good use of teaching resources and facilities to deepen cultural understanding.Finally,the paper concludes the specific teaching design of piano lessons in secondary vocational schools under the threshold of core literacy.Starting from the core quality,this study analyzes the current situation of piano lessons for music performance majors in secondary vocational schools,and puts forward solutions and teaching design,in order to provide reference advice on the cultivation of core quality of piano teaching in secondary vocational schools and promote the continuous improvement of piano teaching quality in secondary vocational schools.
