Research On Ethnic Cultural And Cross-cultural Communication Of Virtual Festivals From The Perspective Of Ritual View

Traditional festivals are an important part of Chinese civilization,with the change of times,traditional festival rituals are constantly combined with new technologies to produce rich festival forms and content,warming the spiritual life of generations of people with the most simple humanistic care.Although its spiritual core still shines,as consumerism and Western festivals invade,urbanization squeezes the space for traditional ritual realization,the younger generation is showing dangerous signs of ignoring the cultural symbols of festivals.It is therefore imperative to recognize that it is imperative to revive the glory of our traditional festivals,and that nascent media technologies may be the antidote for their revitalization.In recent years,the use of "virtual space + traditional festival" form of game works created is common,among which the "Lantern Rite" in "Genshin" with the Spring Festival and Lantern Festival as the prototype has set off a trend among players at home and abroad,this "virtual festival" has become a successful case of spreading China’s traditional festival culture,and has great value in the research of traditional festival culture communication.This study innovatively selects the cultural product of "virtual space + traditional festival" and related cultural phenomena through participatory observation and text research,and puts forward the concise concept of "virtual festival".From the perspective of Carey’s view of ritual,the focus is on the ceremony and the participants.Firstly,on the basis of the theory of "image recognition system of traditional Chinese festivals",the overall ceremony of "Hai Lantern Festival" is divided into two parts: the construction of the surface layer of elements and the construction of the meaning of cultural connotation,so as to clearly spread the cultural elements ingested by players in the ritual,and pave the way for the subsequent psychological and behavioral analysis of participants.Secondly,focusing on domestic and foreign players as participants,paying attention to the virtual space as a cultural communication field,and performing data statistics and processing on the crawled text,it confirms the powerful cross-cultural and national cultural communication effect of the "Lantern Rite",and finds that the virtual festival has its advantages at all stages from the entry ceremony to the integration ceremony of foreign participants,and guides the national cultural identity of domestic players in multiple dimensions.It is the successful cultural dissemination of the virtual festival "Lantern Rite" that has triggered many reflections in this paper,so it also reflects on the seriousness and entertainment of the problems existing in the research object.The success of virtual festivals in spreading festival culture excavated in this paper has important practical significance for subsequent festival culture dissemination and related cultural product creation.
