Characterization And Singing Analysis Of An Excerpt From The Opera Yimeng Mountain

The opera "Yimeng Mountain" is a story created against the historical background of the Anti Japanese War,reflecting the blood thicker than water between the military and the people,sharing a common hatred against the Japanese invaders.The opera has created many heroic and fearless characters,among which the second male character,"Sun Jiulong," as the village head of the entire village,is a bridge between the military and the people,and is known as the "pillar" of the opera.This article is mainly divided into four parts.The first part is an introduction to the creative background and main plot of the national opera "Yimeng Mountain".The second part describes the role of baritone "Sun Jiulong" in three different aspects of stage characterization and its role in the play.The third part analyzes the song "Another Look at My Relatives" through the five dimensions of musical structure,articulation,rhythm,emotion,and difficulty.The fourth part is the author’s singing experience and self perception of singing "Another Look at My Relatives".And use literature research,comparative analysis,and work analysis methods to analyze and elaborate,so as to better understand the characteristics of the characters to be sung and the singing style to be deduced.
