Research On The Moral Challenge Of Intelligent Endowment Robot

With the progress of robot technology and the booming global robot industry,the application of robot has expanded from the early industrial field to medical care,family,security and other fields.At present,with the rapid development of global medical and health undertakings and the gradual improvement of people’s living conditions,the life expectancy of the world is longer than before;At the same time,it also brings a heavy pension burden to countries all over the world.Driven by the global "robot wave",intelligent elderly care robots are bred to accompany the elderly.Their application will improve the nursing quality of the elderly,reduce the cost of social elderly care,change the traditional nursing mode relying on manpower,and alleviate the nursing crisis caused by the aging of the global population to a certain extent.However,while intelligent elderly care robots bring well-being to mankind,ethical and moral issues such as privacy,mental health,human dignity and interpersonal communication remain the same.Only relying on Intelligent elderly care robot technology can not completely solve these interdisciplinary ethical and social problems.These problems are not the bottleneck of robot technology,but how robots "make decisions",that is,robot ethics;The solutions to these problems directly determine the public’s acceptance of robot technology.Therefore,how to restrict the robot behavior applied to the elderly care,and its behavior can conform to human values,has become a topic of great concern to the designers,producers and users of intelligent elderly care robots.Taking this as the starting point,this paper explores the ethical problems of intelligent elderly care robot in application,analyzes the underlying causes,and puts forward some suggestions,hoping to guide the design,production and application of intelligent elderly care robot and avoid possible ethical risks in the future.
