| Hehuang region is the key area connecting the central China with such Tibetan areas as Amdo,and even Weicang and Ali.The Ming Dynasty was a key period in the eastward development of Tibetan civilization,especially Tibetan fine arts.Since Hehuang region was an important channel from the central China to the Tibetan area,a large number of officials,envoys,monks,artists and other artists shuttled here during the Ming Dynasty.Taking the niche images in Tibetan murals in Hehuang region during the Ming Dynasty as an example,this paper discusses the situation of the Sino-Tibetan art exchange in this area,and the development trend of the pluralistic unity of the Chinese nation.On the basis of previous academic research,this paper collects and sorts out the images,and discusses the pattern characteristics and historical origin of the image with Tibetan Buddhist characteristics in Hehuang regin during the Ming Dynasty.Firstly,this paper mainly introduces the origin of Tibetan Buddhist niches and their reflection in the Hehuang region,and combs and introduces the characteristics of the protagonist in the niches.Secondly,this paper takes the Ming Dynasty murals in Qutan Temple,Bingling Temple,Gan’en Temple and Miaoyin Temple,which are representative in this area,as examples,focusing on the modeling characteristics of niche shapes,six Buddhist ornaments and pedestals.Finally,on the basis of the above analysis,this paper discusses the style and cultural origin of niches in Tibetan art in Hehuang region during the Ming Dynasty in connection with mural art in central China and Tibetan region.From this perspective,this paper shows the key role of Hehuang region in the Sino-Tibetan cultural exchange during the Ming Dynasty. |
