| With the strategy of revitalizing the countryside,the Chinese countryside has undergone radical changes.In order to record the changes in the countryside and the current situation of farmers’ life,rural documentaries have started a new round of innovation and expression.Along with the transformation of women’s social status in the new era,the image of women presented in rural documentaries has also changed.While paying more attention to details,the female characters have changed from their previous miserable appearance to show a more diverse side of their social identities,as well as the individual characteristics of the female group in the face of various events.The paper analyzes the image of women in Chinese rural documentaries by means of comparative research and textual analysis.The thesis is divided into four chapters,the first one focuses on the reasons for the change of rural women’s image and the identity of rural women,and the background of the construction of rural women’s image in rural documentaries;the second chapter summarizes the existing rural women’s image in rural documentaries,and concludes that rural women’s image can be divided into three types of women’s image under the awakening of consciousness,under the change of social environment and under the nostalgic emotion.Chapter 3 analyzes specific rural documentary cases and concludes that the combination of picture language and sound language in the creation of rural documentaries can enhance the infectious effect of female images on the audience.Chapter 4 analyzes the presentation of rural women in the graduation work,and reflects on the shortcomings in the process of creating the graduation work.The thesis analyzes the significance of the creation of female images in rural documentaries and the value of rural documentaries to the society from four chapters.In the process,the thesis explores how to create a rural documentary that meets the real face of the times and gives people a new comprehensive understanding of the current situation of rural women through the analysis of the image of women in documentaries. |
