Study On Local Proverbs Of Zhuang

Language is the carrier of culture.Proverbs,as an important part of ethnic language,carry an ethnic group’s way of thinking,cultural traditions and customs.Zhuang people in Guangxi have created proverbs with profound meaning in their daily social life.Guangxi Zhuang proverbs are the encyclopedia of Guangxi Zhuang people’s life,which shows the charm of Zhuang dialect with vivid words and short and concise forms.Guangxi Zhuang proverbs are rooted in Guangxi Zhuang social culture,Zhuang people’s ideas,production mode,living standards,folk customs are reflected in proverbs.Terroir proverbs are proverbs that contain local characteristics.The local proverbs of Zhuang ethnic group can best reflect the social life style and folk culture characteristics of Zhuang ethnic group.Therefore,the study of Zhuang ethnic group customs,culture,local life and production experience from the path of Zhuang language is helpful for us to better understand the Zhuang ethnic group culture and Guangxi Zhuang.This paper is divided into three parts.The first part summarizes the content and characteristics of Zhuang vernacular proverbs,and classifies Guangxi vernacular proverbs into "natural environment category","agricultural production category","flavor products category" and "folk customs category" by referring to the existing classification methods.The second part studies the natural environment and abundant local products in the proverbs of Zhuang ethnic group in Guangxi,and examines the natural view of harmonious coexistence between human and nature.The third part explores the traditional ideas and folk customs in the proverbs of Zhuang ethnic group.The agriculture-oriented view of survival,advocating farming work,agriculture-oriented,advocating farming,advocating work;Strong sense of roots,love home,attachment to the land,the traditional idea of land relocation.
