Yuexi essays are an objective documentary notes with Guangxi as the writing object,which are abundant but less studied.As important parts of Yuexi essays," The Events of Yuexi " and " The Memory and Experiences of Qiaonan " are two notes written by the author Wei Jun according to what he saw and heard as an official in Guangxi,which involved the basic information of the economy,politics,history and culture of Guangxi in the Ming Dynasty.By studying these two notes,combining the historical background,the author’s own life experience and its own subjective factors,analyzing Weijun’s feelings and hidden personal psychology,and trying to restore the real image of Guangxi in his writing,that is,digging out Weijun’s self-view and specific expression of Guangxi in the overall sense.Specifically,Guangxi image includes three parts: the natural image,the social image and the character image.This is of great academic value and practical significance for modern people to understand the notes of Yuexi essays and Guangxi in the Ming Dynasty.The results show that the author wei in " The Events of Yuexi " and "The Memory and Experiences of Qiaonan " in the unique source of writing,writing perspective and writing content construction rain wet asma land,it is rich species,folk customs,and officials,the people,although relative to the central plains culture and education,security chaos,but he generally show a regional characteristics and presents a multi-ethnic communication image of Guangxi in Ming dynasty.It basically presents the real appearance of Guangxi in Ming Dynasty.In essence,it is a conscious combing of the dual identities of "civilized" and "supervisor",and also a self-writing of the ruling class in Ming Dynasty.In this process,it reflects Wei Jun’s self-identity.
