The cultural relics of Hechi Revolution mainly refer to the physical relics that witnessed the glorious history of the New Democratic revolution of Hechi people under the leadership of the Communist Party of China and have been identified and registered.Hechi is an essential part of the revolutionary base area of the Right River during the Anti-Japanese War,the Liberation War and the Land Revolution, witnessing the early peasant movement and land revolution in Guangxi.Hechi has a glorious revolutionary history and features a large number, wide distribution and rich variety of revolutionary cultural relics, including 91 immovable cultural relics and 216 movable revolutionary cultural relics with extremely high historical and contemporary values. The government of Hechi and the public cooperate to promote the protection of the revolutionary cultural relics. However, there are still some problems, including the difficulty of protection, the lack of professionals, the low frequency of inspection, and the lack of publicity for its protection research. In response to these problems, this essay proposes the following three protection strategies and three development and utilization approaches: the local government should integrate revolutionary cultural relic resources to create a red culture brand in Hechi.Related institutions should enhance the publicity of revolutionary cultural relics and improve relic protection through the introduction of professionals. The local government should build well-designed patriotic education bases by digging deeper into the connotation of revolutionary cultural relics, creating research centers and increasing visiting experience. The local museum holds exhibitions of revolutionary relics.Furthermore, the local government and related enterprises need to optimize red tourism routes and innovate and develop artistic and creative products.
