| The We media of foreigners in China contains rich content related to language and culture,showcasing the collision and communication between different cultures in diverse forms.These contents promote cultural exchange between China and foreign countries,assist in the enhancement of cross-cultural communication,and coincide with the international Chinese language education’s emphasis on improving the cross-cultural communication ability of Chinese learners and actively exploring new paths for the dissemination and promotion of Chinese culture.From the perspective of cross-cultural communication,this article explores the innovative role of foreign self-media in China in cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries,using the Waiguoren Studies Association as a representative case study.This article takes the Waiguoren Research Association as a typical case study,as a representative of foreign self media in China,and conducts a case study.129 videos with over 1 million views were selected as the object of empirical research content analysis.The current situation of this type of self media in the cultural exchange between China and foreign countries was analyzed in depth,and the levels reflected in the attractive cultural elements and high interest cultural differences of the audience were identified.At the same time,by using the participatory observation method of Internet ethnography,it is analyzed that there are four interaction modes in the Waiguoren Research Association in Bilibili: multiple interactive perspectives,Chinese based discourse expression,additional input interaction function and auxiliary interaction emoticons.These interaction modes are important guarantees for promoting cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.On this basis,this article summarizes the three roles played by the Waiguoren Research Association in cultural exchanges between China and foreign countrie,which is promoting the widespread dissemination of cultural knowledge between China and foreign countries,cultivating sensitivity in cross-cultural communication,and enhancing natural acquisition of cross-cultural communication skills.It further explores the shortcomings of foreign self media in cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries,and proposes improvement suggestions to address these shortcomings.Through the research in this article,it is found that foreign self media platforms in China play an undeniable role in cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries due to their inherent advantages in foreign perspectives.Cultural exchange between China and foreign countries requires good channels and carriers,and telling Chinese stories to the outside world requires appropriate ways and methods.Short videos on self media for foreigners in China are a new way to tell Chinese stories to the outside world,which is worth learning and applying in the dissemination and promotion of Chinese culture.Based on this,this article draws some inspiration from the development of international Chinese education,and combines the selection of materials in cultural teaching content mentioned earlier The application of interactive teaching methods and the emphasis on digital development have provided specific suggestions,providing a new development path for international Chinese language education that can be used for reference. |
