| Teaching materials and teaching are an inseparable whole,and the preparation of teaching materials is to serve teaching.In order to make the vocabulary teaching in the listening classroom more suitable for the characteristics of the lesson type,it is very necessary to study the vocabulary arrangement characteristics of the listening textbook.This paper takes the vocabulary of "Developing Chinese and Intermediate Listening II" as the research object,and adopts the literature research method,quantitative and qualitative combination analysis method,and questionnaire survey method to investigate.The content of the study mainly has four parts: first,the analysis of the presentation of new words;second,the number of new words and the level of difficulty analysis;Third,the reproducibility analysis of new words;Fourth,vocabulary practice design analysis.The study finds that in the presentation of new words,new words are mainly presented in the order of "new words-pinyin-part of speech-English interpretation",which is concise and clear,which is conducive to learners learning new words systematically.In terms of the number of new words and the difficulty of the level,the total number of new words in the textbook basically meets the needs of intermediate stage learners,but a large proportion of super-outline words appear,the arrangement of vocabulary level in the teaching materials is slightly higher than the actual level of intermediate stage learners.In terms of the reproduction rate of new words,the average word frequency of new words basically meets the requirements of reproduction rate,but low-frequency words account for more than half,followed by high-frequency words,and the reproduction interval is mainly concentrated in the same course,and the reproduction rate and repetition interval of new words in the textbook need to be optimized.In terms of vocabulary practice design,vocabulary practice has a variety of question types,but the number of vocabulary practice accounts for more than half,vocabulary practice in listening class is for listening comprehension,it is not appropriate to spend a lot of time explaining vocabulary practice,and the practice design of vocabulary in teaching materials needs to be improved.In view of the above research results,combined with the statistical analysis of questionnaire survey,combining theory and practice,and from the perspective of teaching application,three suggestions for vocabulary teaching in intermediate listening classes of Chinese as a foreign language are put forward.First,teachers should arrange the teaching of new words according to the characteristics of the lesson type of listening class,and the focus of word meaning explanation is on semantics rather than pragmatics.Second,teachers should cultivate students’ ability to guess words,string words,and jump new words,and overcome the hearing impairment caused by super-standard vocabulary.Third,teachers should arrange vocabulary practice questions in layers to improve classroom efficiency.It is hoped that the research in this paper can provide a reference for teachers who use the textbook,empower the vocabulary teaching of listening classes,and make a modest contribution to the development of international Chinese education. |
