A Study On The Elements Of Mohist Culture In The Spirit Of Chinese Aesthetics

The spirit of Chinese aesthetics is a clear refinement and high generalization of the aesthetic essence of traditional culture,and is the theoretical crystallization of long-term academic exploration in China’s academic community.It is also the embodiment of the complex expression logic and the operating mechanism between traditional aesthetic discourse and aesthetic consciousness,artistic practice,and national spirit.The formation and development of the Chinese aesthetic spirit cannot be separated from the influence of various ideological and aesthetic schools.In the past,research on the formation and development of the Chinese aesthetic spirit has focused on such ideological schools as Confucianism,Taoism,and Zen,while the excavation and collation of the elements of Mohist culture in the Chinese aesthetic spirit is very weak.However,Mohist culture plays a pivotal role in the excellent traditional Chinese culture,it plays a key role in the construction of the Chinese aesthetic spirit.The integration of Mohist culture can enable the Chinese aesthetic spirit to absorb cultural nutrients other than Confucianism,Taoism,Zen,and other ideological schools,and enable the formation and development of the Chinese aesthetic spirit to burst out with different vitality.In view of this,the research content focuses on the Mohist ideology and culture,takes the formation and development of the Chinese aesthetic spirit as a line,and takes the construction of contemporary aesthetic development as a surface.It examines the Mohist culture in the formation and development process of the Chinese aesthetic spirit,exploring the elements of Mohist culture in the Chinese aesthetic spirit.The article is generally presented in three parts: introduction,text,and conclusion.The introduction part mainly combs the research background,the research status of the Chinese aesthetic spirit,research methods,and innovation points.The text is divided into four chapters.The first chapter summarizes the connotation and characteristics of the Chinese aesthetic spirit.It is mainly aimed at the current situation in which the academic community expresses their own opinions on the connotation of the Chinese aesthetic spirit,which is different and difficult to reach a consensus in the academic community.It is hoped that the connotation and characteristics of the Chinese aesthetic spirit can be more clearly sorted out,and it is reasonable to integrate the Mohist culture into the Chinese aesthetic spirit.The second chapter discusses the relationship between Mohist culture and the generation and development of Chinese aesthetic spirit.This paper explores the relationship between the cultural and historical development process of Mohism from the Warring States period when Mohism became a "prominent school",the decline of Mohism after the Qin and Han dynasties,and the revival of Mohism in modern times,and the germination,development,and deepening stages of the Chinese aesthetic spirit.The third chapter explores and arranges the elements of Mohist culture in the spirit of Chinese aesthetics.Based on a summary of the essential connotation,value orientation,and expression of the Chinese aesthetic spirit,this paper combs and combines historical and theoretical elements of Mohist culture from the four dimensions of ontology,harmony,literary and artistic views,and righteousness and benefit theory in Mohist ideology and theory,and explores the academic and theoretical support that Mohist culture provides for the generation and development of the Chinese aesthetic spirit.The fourth chapter explores the contribution of Mohist aesthetic wisdom to contemporary aesthetics.From the perspective of the practical path of Chinese aesthetic spirit,this paper explores the significance of Mohist aesthetic thought for contemporary aesthetics,as well as the practical path of integrating Mohist aesthetic wisdom into the development of contemporary aesthetics.This article explores how to activate the traditional aesthetic wisdom of Mohism in contemporary aesthetic practice,with a view to providing theoretical basis for the construction of contemporary aesthetic discourse system,contributing academic and theoretical resources to the development of contemporary aesthetics,and making Chinese aesthetics stand firm in the current flood of aesthetic development in the world.The conclusion part expounds that the elements of Mohist culture not only have historical status and historical values in the process of the generation and development of the Chinese aesthetic spirit,but also have the era value of achieving modernization and innovative development.They contain rich national aesthetic consciousness and aesthetic thinking,which can promote the enrichment and improvement of the Chinese aesthetic spirit,enable people to improve their national aesthetic consciousness,and better promote the development of contemporary aesthetics.
