The Creative Style And Performance Analysis Of Debussy’s Piano Work "Moonlight"

Debussy devoted his life to music innovation and pursued novelty.The immortal work "Moonlight" is a brilliant gem in the history of music.Although "Moonlight" was Debussy’s early work,the stylistic features of Impressionist music have already emerged,showcasing a completely different creative philosophy from contemporary composers.The musical thinking of Moonlight is the bud of Debussy’s impressionistic style,which laid the foundation for his creation of impressionistic music and gave great enlightenment to later Impressionism music and modern music.This article explores from three aspects: firstly,the creative background of "Moonlight";The second is the creative characteristics of "Moonlight",mainly including harmony,mode and tonality,as well as the Eastern aesthetics contained in "Moonlight";Thirdly,based on the guidance of the mentor and personal performance experience,the performance techniques of "Moonlight" were analyzed from the perspectives of key touching techniques,force handling,and pedal application.I also hope that this project can provide reference for future research on this work and play a certain role in promoting the performance of this work in the future.
