A Study On The Narrative Strategies Of Oral Historical Documentaries

Oral history Oral history documentary is a new type of documentary with the help of modern film and television technology and audiovisual language,which is dictated by historical witnesses,so as to restore the real history.In oral history documentaries,it mainly takes the perspective of private narrative as the starting point,and presents a little-known historical story with the help of narrative means.His personal work "Light and Shadow Create a Legend" is a documentary recalling the development history of Changchun Film Studio.The lens truly records the contributions made by the older generation of Changying workers to the development of new Chinese films.In the creation of the work,the law of narrative is followed,and the understanding of narrative theory knowledge is constantly deepened,but in this process,its story aspect needs to be improved,and the true historical background of oral details needs to be explored and improved.Through the creation of audiovisual language,we strive to perfectly combine oral history and documentary,so that more people can understand the history of Changying’s film development and increase their sense of historical identity with Changchun Film Studio,the cradle of new Chinese film.
