Research On Mutual Aid In Agricultural Production In Jilin Province From 1948 To 1949

After 1948,the war situation in the northeast reversed sharply,from strategic defense to strategic offensive stage,and the initiative on the battlefield also put forward new requirements for the rear warfare service.At this time in Jilin Province,land reform was completed successively,and the peasant masses were generally given land and their enthusiasm for production was greatly enhanced.However,like other regions,Jilin Province,which experienced the war,had more land and fewer people,especially in the spring plowing season,there was a lack of production materials such as farm animals,labor,seeds,etc.These problems became the main factors hindering the recovery and development of agricultural production in Jilin Province.In order not to violate the farming season and to rush the plowing and planting in time,Jilin Province,on the basis of summarizing the past experience of mutual labor assistance,overcame various problems encountered in production and guided farmers to carry out mutual cooperation in an orderly manner to ensure the smooth production.Taking 1948 to 1949 as the time frame,this article focuses on the development process of the Great Production Movement and the organization of agricultural mutual aid in Jilin Province during that period,with a view to exploring the situation of mutual aid cooperation and the leading role played by the Communist Party of China in that period.The first part of the article is divided into four parts.The first part introduces the social background of agricultural production mutual aid in Jilin Province,and explains the social conditions in Jilin Province during the war period in order to better understand the importance of organizing mutual aid in production.The second part is an introduction to the specific scale and situation of agricultural mutual aid in Jilin Province in 1948 and 1949,a period of large-scale organization in which the main forms were temporary mutual aid groups and seasonal mutual aid groups.With the liberation of the whole province of Jilin,the scale and form carried out in1949 has developed significantly compared to last year,not only the scale of mutual aid has expanded,most areas have appeared perennial mutual aid groups.While carrying out agricultural production,they also actively engaged in secondary production to improve the income of the peasant masses and stabilize the regime in the base areas.At the same time,the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee also took into account the stability and continuity of the organization and adopted various measures to solve the difficulties encountered in production mutual aid,so as to make mutual aid more popular and enhance the willingness of the masses to participate.The third part introduces the characteristics of agricultural production mutual aid in Jilin Province.The first is to focus on the evaluation and reward of model labor to achieve the goal of promoting and publicizing the organization of mutual aid.The second is to emphasize the organizing principle of respecting the will of the masses and ensuring fairness.The last part is the initial development of measures to record,discount and count the work,and the management through the above measures to ensure the interests of participants.The last part is mainly a summary and evaluation of its historical role.Jilin Province not only restored and developed agricultural production during the critical period of the Liberation War,but also organized a large number of people to support the Liberation War,making a great contribution to the smooth progress of the Liberation War.And these work could not be accomplished without the great benefits played by Jilin Province in organizing mutual assistance in agricultural production.In addition,the current urbanization is still on the rise,the revitalization of the countryside is in order,the development of agriculture is moving towards the development of intensive,mechanization,modernization,large-scale management,division of labor under the mode of production will be the mainstream in the coming period.Although the environment and production conditions have changed drastically,the useful experience in the distribution of labor resources and the rational use of production materials in mutual aid production can also help and learn from the future agricultural production and promote the further development of agricultural production.
