The Complements of direction is one of the most frequently used complement in modern Chinese.It has a large number,complex meaning and diverse structure,and there is no corresponding syntactic component in other languages,which increases the learning difficulty of foreign learners.Textbook is an important source of learners’ tendency to acquire complements,and the reasonable arrangement of grammar points in textbook will directly affect students’ learning effect.In this paper,the widely used and popular HSK Standard Course is selected as the research object,and sentences in the seven textbooks are analyzed sentence by sentence.Then,the Complements of direction in the HSK Standard Course is investigated under the guidance of the Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education.This paper investigates the Complements of Direction in the HSK Standard Course from three aspects.The first is to investigate the presentation of the Complements of Direction in each section of the HSK Standard Course.The second is to investigate the presentation of the form,function and context of the Complements of direction appearing as a grammatical point in the textbook.The third is to compare the selection and arrangement of Complements of direction in HSK Standard Course and Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education.Through the above research and analysis,it is found that the characteristics and deficiencies of the "HSK Standard Course" tend to complement arrangement,such as:The selection and ordering of complement in HSK Standard Course is not equal to that in Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education.,the formal structure and typical context of complement are not prominent enough,the frequency of repetition of complement is low,the arrangement of complement does not fully reflect the teaching principle of step by step,the number of complement exercises is insufficient and the form is single,and the form of complement annotation is single.Finally,in view of the characteristics and existing problems of the Complements of direction arrangement in HSK Standard Course,the author puts forward some suggestions on the trend of complement arrangement HSK Standard Course from seven aspects combined with "Trinity Grammar".
