Virtual reality technology has moved from technical research and laboratory research to broader applications,such as education.Research shows that virtual reality technology helps learners to master knowledge and skills,and has become an important part of the development of modern educational technology.At present,virtual reality technology has been widely used in many fields of education.However,in the field of language teaching,especially in the field of international Chinese education,virtual reality teaching resources are relatively scarce.This paper aims to explore the possibility and approach of Chinese teachers to independently develop virtual reality teaching resources,and tries to answer the following three questions: under the current technological conditions,can Chinese teachers independently develop simple virtual reality teaching resources? If so,what tools or platforms can you use? What are the advantages and disadvantages of the tools and platforms used?The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research background,research status,research questions,research ideas and significance.Among them,the research status introduces the application of virtual reality in the field of education and its advantages and limitations,the application of virtual reality in language teaching and the construction of virtual reality teaching resources research and achievements.The second chapter gives an overview of virtual reality,including the concept and characteristics,system types and equipment types,construction methods and content forms,and discusses the theoretical basis,necessity and feasibility of developing virtual reality teaching resources.Finally,the design principles of virtual reality teaching resources are discussed by referring to the research on the development of digital teaching resources and combining with the existing virtual reality works related to language teaching.The third,fourth and fifth chapters are the development cases of virtual reality teaching resources based on Creation +,U3 D and Light World respectively.These chapters include details on software introduction,teaching requirements,overall design,production process and work presentation.The results show that teachers can use the above three software to make simple virtual reality teaching resources,each of which has its own advantages and disadvantages.The sixth chapter is the conclusion,the innovation point and the suggestion,the research deficiency and the prospect.We believe that under the current conditions,teachers can make simple virtual reality teaching resources.
