| Sleep quality is related to adolescent growth and physical and mental health,researches showed that more than 50% Chinese students have poor sleep quality,the detection rate of sleep disorders in adolescents is increasing year by year.Researches showed that aggression is one of the reasons that affect the sleep quality of adolescents,and forgiveness can reduce the harmfulness caused by aggression and improve the sleep quality of adolescents.And forgiveness trait refers to the tendency of an individual to forgive others’ faults after facing aggression by others,improving the level of trait forgiveness is beneficial to improve sleep quality.However,how the forgiveness can improve the sleep quality,the mechanism still needs to be further explored.At the same time,some researches found out that rumination can cause cognitive arousal and affect sleep.Rumination have been defined as thoughts and behaviors that focus one’s attention on one’s depressive symptoms and the meanings of these symptoms.Moreover,mindfulness is a new concept in the field of contemporary clinical health psychology.Mindfulness advocates “inaction” and “acceptance”.Focusing on what’s in front of you and let go of what’s happened in the past.Paying attention to the present makes individuals more likely to be aware of their inner state and ongoing activities.It allows individuals to divert their attention from the ruminant thinking process and improve their sleep quality.Therefore,this study intends to explore the relationship between forgiveness and sleep quality,and the role of rumination and mindfulness in the above relationshipDifferent from the medical field,this research focuses on the role of psychological factors in the sleep process of teenagers,and puts forward feasible recommendations..In this study,rumination and mindfulness were used as mediating variables to explore the effect of forgiveness on sleep quality.And we used HFS,PSQI,RRS and MAAS to measure these four variables.The results were follows:(1)There are significant differences in demographic variables in adolescents’ forgiveness,rumination,mindfulness,and sleep quality(2)Forgiveness was significantly positively correlated with mindfulness and sleep quality.Moreover,rumination was negatively correlated with forgiveness,mindfulness and sleep quality.While mindfulness was positively correlated with sleep quality.(3)Rumination and mindfulness serve as a complete mediator between forgiveness and sleep quality:... |
