Role playing game(RPG for short)is a relatively broad type of game.The main difference between RPG and other types of game is that it has story-driven game scenarios.Role-playing games have a long history.In the era when computers were not yet born,there were card-type desktop role-playing games.The earlier role-playing games can even be traced back to the classic game "Play the Family" when children played.In today’s era of computer and Internet technology development,role-playing games have also been digitized.Because of its deep binding to cultural content,role-playing games have become an extremely important category in digital games.They have even created a virtual world in the network,which has a profound impact on human social entertainment and psychological development.In the early stages of development,Digital Role Playing Game was affected by the advanced development of computer and Internet technology in the West,which made the initial market of Digital Role Playing Game a very large part of the Western society.However,the play scenarios of digital role-playing games have a subtle influence on the players’ cultural values and the development of social cultural content,and even become part of the Internet culture to a certain extent.Asian market development for digital role-playing games started in Japan.Due to the relatively long and continuous historical and cultural heritage of Asia,the development of Asian digital role-playing games and their audience,Asian digital role-playing games have occupied more than half of the world’s market in just over a decade.Digital role-playing games have a very special position in the game industry.Due to the strong additionality of the cultural content of role-playing games,developers should not only consider the attractiveness of the game scenario to players,but also spend a lot of artistry and design work to build game maps and virtual world view settings that can provide a more complete experience.From this,it can be concluded that the game industry is an important part of the national cultural soft power,while digital role-playing games are an important pillar of the development of the game industry,which is a dual reflection of the cultural content creation and digital technology strength in the game industry.China is facing a late start in the development of the game industry,which is hindered by poor technology.Arcade and PC games are mostly Pirates of role-playing games that face the Western game market in game halls and Internet cafes that have appeared since the 1980 s.As a result,the concept of game payment training in the Chinese game industry market lags behind that in the West.Various national conditions make the domestic digital role-playing game industry different from other countries in the world.For the study of digital role-playing game,this paper takes the cultural content of the game as the starting point,and takes the cultural and scientific attributes as the core clue of its industry research,not only because the study of digital role-playing game industry can be seen as a representative study of the overall game industry,but also from the perspective of cultural content,it can form a new view on the development status of the digital role-playing game industry.This will lead to a new perspective of development strategies.This paper mainly discusses the countermeasure research of its industry development from three aspects: enterprise,government and players.Firstly,it combs the current situation of enterprises,government and players in the domestic role-playing game industry,and finds out the corresponding problems.Generally,it can be summarized as three main problems: the cultural choice of enterprises,the cultural orientation of the government and the cultural tendency of players.It is worth noting that the cultural and scientific attributes of the domestic RPG industry are always a pair of strong basic attributes,so even if there is more discussion on the cultural attributes from the perspective of the cultural industry,it can not be separated from the reality of the scientific and technological attributes of its industry.This will be gradually reflected in the next discussion of the strategy,generally from the enterprise,government and players as a starting point,enterprises as an indispensable driving force in the market,the government makes a good role in the market,the role of players for the market as a whole is like water in a bowl.In the role-playing game industry,the meaning of players is different from other industries.For example,in the study of the government and players,it is found that the government plays the role of supervision,regulation and industry-oriented control.Consumers will have a clear tendency of collective evaluation and selection of game products and subsequent secondary derivation of their products.Both of them play the role of supervision and guidance of the industry in essence.The problems are generally sorted in terms of production and sales,which can be summarized as the domestic production and sales environment of the domestic digital role-playing game industry as well as the foreign production and sales environment have encountered obstacles.Internal and external competition exist simultaneously and are mixed with each other.When the problems in the industry can be sorted according to certain rules,it also means that there may be a series of complex problems to simplify.The digital role-playing game industry belongs to the cultural industry.For the cultural industry,how to find and develop suitable consumers,or cultural audiences,is the key issue that the industry cannot avoid in the process of development.This problem is reflected in the digital role-playing game industry.In fact,it is whether cultural content is popular with players and can meet any obvious or potential needs of players.Therefore,cultural creativity,in fact,carries strong characteristics of the times.When studying the development strategies of the domestic digital role-playing game industry,its cases also need to keep pace with the times and bring new research content and thinking to relevant professional research.
