The most basic function of digital games is entertainment,and as cultural products,they also carry corresponding spiritual connotations.To a certain extent,digital games are the discourse power of cultural dissemination.Modern digital games are the first to emerge in countries with rapid technological development,and Western values are imported into China through game media.Therefore,developing digital games with Chinese cultural content is of great significance for inheriting and promoting excellent traditional Chinese culture and boosting national spirit.In response to the shortage of games based on historical and cultural stories in the domestic game market,this study explores the historical and cultural events and materials of Huo Qubing in the Han Dynasty,and uses adaptation and deduction methods to form original game stories that are different from real historical events.Interactive plots are designed;And cartoon style art design was applied to the characters and scenes of the game;Through digital resource creation and technological implementation,the entire process of digital game creation was explored and practiced,resulting in the formation of the role-playing single player game "Desert Smoke".In 121 BC,Emperor Wu of Han sent Huo Qubing and Gongsun Ao to lead tens of thousands of cavalry into Hexi to recover the lost land.The two teams of cavalry planned to attack in two separate routes and agreed to eventually converge at the Heihe River.At that time,Huo Qubing was the first to arrive at the confluence point,while Gongsun Ao did not arrive on time due to the complex terrain in Hexi.Therefore,Huo Qubing changed his plan and returned to the back of the Xiongnu to launch an attack,achieving a brilliant record of annihilating over 30000 Xiongnu soldiers and only losing three tenths of the Han army.The game story is adapted based on this material: The Xiongnu Kingdom repeatedly invaded the western territory of Tianhan Kingdom and occupied the important town of Suzhou City in the western part of Tianhan Kingdom.Therefore,the emperor sent a young general named "Champion Marquis" to campaign against the Xiongnu Kingdom and recapture the lost land such as Suzhou City.The game is designed with four levels,Anxi Town,Jinta Town,Yangguan Town,and Suzhou City.Each level can be converted to each other through a teleportation gate.Before entering the game,the game will introduce the background of the game story with an opening animation,bringing players into the game scene.In the game,players will gain experience points by killing enemies,thereby improving their level.After the player reaches a certain level,they can challenge the defending generals in the game.If they are defeated,they can regain their lost territory and ultimately win the game.The game ends with an ending animation.The game is developed and implemented in the Unity engine,and the programming language is C #.Completion of the timeline component for the transition animation and ending animation;The game uses Free Look Camera to achieve third person perspective;Apply AI intelligent navigation components for baking during the game scene production process;Applying the Animator Controller animation controller component to achieve game character control;The game has the basic elements of RPG games,including attack,critical strike,pursuit,upgrade,random patrol,and save functions.The creation process forms action role-playing game cases,experiences,and templates,which have certain reference significance for learning game development.
