A Study On The Aesthetic Expression Of Poetic Documentaries

Documentary film is known as the survival of human beings,presenting the survival state of life in the real world through the expression of images,while poetic documentary,as a subgenre of documentary,expresses the creator’s subjective emotions about life and life in the form of documentary and poetic expression.In recent years,with the release of the vitality of traditional Chinese culture and the promotion of cultural consciousness and cultural self-confidence,the breakthrough and innovation of the boundaries of documentary have been continuously promoted,and poetic documentary film,as a product of the historical evolution of the documentary ontology genre,has traveled in the "poetic reality" of the real world with its own rhythmic and intentional characteristics.In order to improve the creative quality of poetic documentaries in aesthetic practice,this thesis discusses the aesthetic expression and poetic creation methods of poetic documentaries.First of all,the definition of poetic documentary is divided by the genre and mode of documentary film: poetic documentary film is mainly based on the style characteristics of weak narrative,strong lyricism and heavy rhythm,and uses ideographic montage techniques to emphasize the subjective emotions of creators,and strives to express philosophical connotations,condense imagery,enhance the realm,and infect the audience in a variety of artistic ways to express the poetic charm documentary film.Starting from the development process of poetic documentaries,this thesis summarizes the characteristics of poetic documentaries,explores the importance of aesthetics in the creation of poetic documentaries,and introduces the creative methods of poetic expression in poetic documentaries as an entry point.Secondly,based on the definition and existing theories of poetic documentaries in this thesis,combined with the actual creative experience of the graduation work "Blowing Zen",this thesis proposes a new poetic documentary film production method in order to better show the artistic charm of poetry.Aesthetic expression specifically starts from three aspects: audiovisual expression,montage expression and theme expression: one is to start from the audiovisual expression in the display of aesthetics,and the audiovisual expression of "formal beauty" in poetic documentaries should be explored from three aspects: picture beauty,sound beauty and structural beauty.The second is to start with the montage expression of "artistic beauty" in poetic documentaries,which usually use three montage techniques,lyrical,metaphorical and contrasting,which correspond to their themes.The third is to analyze the three levels of poetic documentaries in the theme from the perspective of the theme expression of "humanistic beauty" in poetic documentaries,namely focusing on individuals,society,and culture,and achieving sublimation of the theme through the expansion of points and surfaces.In short,through the study of the aesthetic expression of poetic documentaries,we try to establish a poetic documentary aesthetic system,take it as the focus,and place it in the context of cultural self-confidence for care,so as to provide some references and references for creators to use poetry to create poetic documentaries,express subjective thoughts and philosophical connotations,present personal pursuit of self and the romantic spirit of "poetic habitat" in social real life.Provide strategic support for a deeper understanding and promotion of excellent traditional Chinese culture in poetic documentaries.
