Politeness is the basic moral norm that human beings need to abide by to maintain the normal life of society.Polite language can best reflect the behavior and etiquette of both sides in language communication.In order to make the communication go smoothly,the use of polite language is especially important,so is the use of polite language in instruction language.Both China and Japan attach great importance to etiquette,and Japan performs better and more standardized in the details of etiquette.This paper selected the Chinese textbooks published by the Japanese Chinese guide and China’s publishing of Chinese Conversation 301(fourth edition),search for related website for each academic literature on the basis of the study,and combined with the polite language related work,for the two teaching Chinese language instruction done detailed comparative analysis research of politeness,It includes the differences between Chinese and Japanese polite language,cultural background,language forms of command language and their distribution in teaching materials,and the reasons for the differences.By comparing and analyzing the use of polite terms of instruction language in Chinese textbooks between China and Japan,the differences between Chinese textbooks published between China and Japan are obtained.This thesis mainly adopts the quantitative and qualitative research method of combining the,will the Chinese guide and Chinese Conversation 301(fourth edition)the two Chinese textbooks are divided into the language of instruction,notes before class,practice three parts,and from two aspects of honorific language form and Japanese sentence classification for these three parts was analyzed respectively,and the language of instruction Study the differences in politeness.Study found that from the perspective of the honorific language form the Chinese guide Chinese teaching material and notes before class instructions contain respect degree is higher than the Chinese Conversation 301(fourth edition)sentences,and part in the practice instruction language,the Chinese speaking 301 Chinese textbooks of politeness than the Chinese guide,but overall,The politeness degree of instruction in Japanese Chinese textbooks is much higher than that in Chinese textbooks.From the perspective of sentence category analysis,question of politeness than declarative sentence and imperative sentence,imperative sentence of politeness is the lowest in the three kinds of sentence patterns,the Chinese guide and notes before class part of the Chinese textbooks of the instruction language mainly general statements,However,instructions in the pre-class and explanatory parts of Chinese Conversation 301 are mainly naked declarative sentences,while in the practice instruction parts,both textbooks are mainly imperative sentences.However,in terms of types,Chinese textbooks are more diverse than Japanese textbooks,and in terms of politeness,Chinese textbooks are inferior to Japanese textbooks.It can be seen that the politeness degree of Japanese Chinese textbooks is higher than that of Chinese textbooks.According to the above research conclusions,the author suggests that when compiling Chinese textbooks for Japanese learners,the number of pre-class instruction should be increased so that learners can understand the content to be learned in this course,and the interaction between learners and the textbooks should be enhanced.In addition,general statement sentences should be used in pre-class instruction to improve the politeness of instruction.In the part of annotation instruction,more honorifics are used to reduce the use of naked declarative sentences,and more general declarative sentences are used.In the part of instruction practice,continue to give full play to the advantages of Chinese teaching materials,set more direct or moderate imperative sentences to improve learners’ participation.In terms of content,different practice questions should be set in various forms to increase students’ curiosity and interest in doing exercises.Editors should understand Japanese politeness strategies and try their best to localize the compilation of Chinese textbooks.
