| Yan Zhenqing is recognized as a master calligrapher in the history of Chinese calligraphy.His calligraphy style and image of "loyal minister" have a profound influence on later generations.The Jin Dynasty lasted 120 years.Although it was ruled by the Jurchen ethnic group,it recognized and accepted the Han culture very much,especially in the Sinicization policy implemented since the middle of the Jin Dynasty.The rulers of the Jin Dynasty attached great importance to the traditional Confucian culture,and Yan Zhenqing’s style of writing,characterized by "integrity" and "fortitude",was also popular.Based on the cultural background and origin of accepting Yan Zhenqing’s style of writing in the middle Jin Dynasty,this paper analyzes the reasons for accepting Yan Zhenqing’s style of writing in the middle Jin Dynasty.First of all,from the Jin rulers’ emphasis on Han culture and their admiration for Yan Zhenqing’s style of writing as the cultural background,we can see that Yan Zhenqing adapted to the development of the dynasty.Then,through the case analysis of Ren Xun,a calligrapher known as "the first calligrapher at that time",we can see that Ren Xun’s learning of Yan Zhenqing’s style directly promoted the popularity of Yan Zhenqing’s style in the middle Jin Dynasty.Then through the various styles of learning Yan in the stele calligraphy of other calligraphers,it is not difficult to see that the acceptance of Yan Zhenqing’s style of writing by the calligrapher group in the middle Jin Dynasty is an indisputable fact.At the same time,it should be noted that although most of the calligraphers in the middle Jin Dynasty chose Yan Zhenqing’s calligraphy,they did not have obvious personal features,which may be the reason why Jin Dynasty calligraphy was neglected in history.Finally,through the study of the middle Jin Dynasty calligraphers accepting Yan Zhenqing’s style of writing,the author is deeply inspired in the reading and creation of books. |
