| New technological conditions such as the Internet and digital communication have led to a "renaissance" of radio drama,an art form that originally relied on the broadcast medium,in the digital and online era.Children’s radio dramas have become an art form with wide distribution and audience reach.Children’s radio dramas contain musical and literary components as well as the uniqueness of the auditory medium,and therefore should be an important tool for children’s aesthetic education.This thesis argues for the value of children’s radio dramas and the feasibility of developing aesthetic education through children’s radio dramas in today’s new media context,through the unique aesthetic education mechanism that children’s radio dramas have.This paper examines the relationship between children’s radio drama and education and aesthetic education as a context for exploring the significance of research on children’s radio drama,and provides an overview of current research on radio drama and children’s radio drama.First,starting from the current media experience of children who are overly visualized,we analyze how children’s radio dramas,as a sound medium in this media environment,enable listeners to complete the process of hearing and perceiving,associating and imagining,and finally forming thinking and understanding and aesthetic feelings when "listening" to sound,and thus explain how children’s radio dramas can make children’s In his argument,he introduces Benjamin’s theory of the "sound field" of the radio medium,which captures the most distinctive feature of the radio medium-a pure medium that can only be transmitted through sound.Within the limitations of this medium,which can only communicate with a single sense,Benjamin uses the spatial construction of sound to allow listeners to maximize the use of their imagination for the educational purposes of radio drama.This argues for the special value of radio as a purely auditory medium and for its potential as a pedagogical medium for mass education.This is the intellectual spark and starting point for this paper to explore the educational potential of radio drama.Then,taking the imagination as a vein,we mainly explain how radio drama as an imaginative art plays a unique role in the cultivation of imagination in children’s aesthetic education from the perspectives of sensory association and psychological "auditory mental image",and how to cultivate an "imaginative empathy" based on aesthetic imagination."This is an important logical aspect of the personality education dimension of children’s radio drama practice.Finally,based on the theoretical elaboration of the aesthetic education mechanism of children’s radio drama,some children’s radio drama works are selected for textual analysis,focusing on how "transcriptionality",a unique linguistic feature of radio drama,is reflected in the works adapted from picture books to radio drama,and the "transcriptionality" from written to oral texts The "paraphrase" from written to oral text is the key to transforming a novel into a radio drama text,and the"paraphrase" from novel to radio drama adds a new multi-sensory dimension of interpretation,which is the key to analyzing how the same work has different aesthetic effects,or how the radio drama has an aesthetic value based on its media characteristics.Because of its own media characteristics,radio drama has a unique artistic "personality".Today,with more and more attention paid to aesthetic education,children’s radio drama is entering the field of children’s aesthetic education in a new way of communication,whose aesthetic education value is worth exploring and should be paid more attention to. |
