Henri Lefebvre(1901-1991)was a famous French philosopher and existentialist-Marxist.Lefebvre’s life was particularly concerned with the problem of the existential dilemma of man in modern society. He believed that the capitalist mode of production severed the connection between human beings and everyday life and led to their alienation, thus initiating his critique of modern society.Based on Marx’s theory of alienation, and taking Marx’s "total man" as his goal, and combining it with Nietzsche’s "spirit of the gods of wine," Lefebvre proposed the realization of the "total man" and The goal of aesthetic salvation is to "make everyday life a work of art".This paper takes the aesthetic salvation thought of Lefebvre as the main object of study, sorts out the practical reasons and theoretical sources of his aesthetic salvation thought, and clarifies the main contents and strategies of its aesthetic salvation.Based on this,it also analyzes the significance and limited nature of his thought,as well as its influence and inspiration on the development of contemporary aesthetic disciplines in China, which consists of four main parts:First, the reasons for the birth of its idea of aesthetic redemption are elaborated in terms of both practical and theoretical reasons. From the theoretical point of view, his ideas and the theory of aesthetic salvation are in line with each other, while inheriting and developing Marx’s idea of the "comprehensive human being",Nietzsche’s "spirit of wine" and "the spirit of the gods".Nietzsche’s "spirit of wine" and "superman" doctrine laid the foundation for the development of this paper.Second, this paper points out that the aesthetic salvation thought of Lefebvre contains two aspects: the realization of the "total man" and "making everyday life a work of art",which is the result of his criticism of the alienation of man and the alienation of everyday life. The "total man" consists of three aspects: the unity of man and nature, the unity of man and society, and the unity of man’s finiteness and infinity. At the same time,he defines the basic concept of "everyday life," explains how he discovered the aesthetic and emancipatory power of everyday life in literature and drama, and proposes the aesthetic salvation goal of "making everyday life a work of art.At the same time,he explains the paths and strategies to achieve aesthetic salvation, and in order to achieve the goal of aesthetic salvation,he proposes that we should carry out a cultural revolution in all aspects, including "physical revolution,""spatial revolution," and "festival revolution.Festive Revolution".In the "bodily revolution," Lefebvre emphasizes that we should reconnect people with everyday life through "rhythm" and achieve a harmonious unity between people and everyday life in the social and gender sense. In "Spatial Revolution",he distinguishes between"spatial practices","representations of space" and "representational space".He believes that the capitalist mode of production has led to the fragmentation of these three types of space, and that in order to realize the revolution of aesthetic salvation,it is necessary to construct the "space of difference" in an aesthetic way,and that the"space of difference" is the source of the realization of his cultural revolution. In the"festival revolution," he believes that the traditional rural festival form embodies the harmony between human beings and nature. However,as society gradually evolves into a "controlled consumption society",the traditional festival atmosphere has disappeared and has been replaced by consumerism, becoming an orgy of commodities,so we need to restore the original meaning of festivals through a"momentary" orgy like the god of wine,in order to We need to restore the original meaning of the festival through the "momentary" revelry of the god of wine,so as to realize the self-redemption of man.Third, this paper argues that Lefebvre’s idea of aesthetic salvation is a continuation and development of aesthetic modernity, inheriting the tradition of aesthetic modernity’s critique of social modernity. At the same time,it responds to the two demands that aesthetic modernity wants philosophy to return to sensibility and to daily life to achieve aesthetic salvation. At the same time,it points out that its aesthetic salvation relies too much on the role of aesthetics in transforming society, reverses the relationship between the economic base and the superstructure, and goes further and further down the Marxist road, which is a utopian artistic fantasy with its limits.Fourthly, this paper analyzes the influence and significance of Lefebvre’s idea of aesthetic salvation on contemporary Chinese aesthetic thought. It is argued that Lefebvre always focuses his attention on how aesthetics responds to reality and cares for the state of human existence in order to overcome the metaphysical rigidity of traditional aesthetics. The critical spirit and anti-logos tendency contained therein can help solve the problems of "generalization of ’beauty’" and "absence of interventional aesthetics" in the development of aesthetics in China at the present stage. The critical spirit and anti-logos tendency contained in.
