In the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out advancing rural revitalization across the board,continuing to put agricultural and rural development first.Moving faster to build up China’s strength in agriculture and steadily promoting the revitalization of businesses,talent,culture,ecosystems,and organizations in the countryside.Red culture contains rich political,economic and cultural values.It is a valuable property created and left over by the Chinese people under the leadership of the Communist Party of China in various periods of revolution,construction and reform.Under the background of implementing the rural revitalization strategy,all localities should give full play to the rich value of red culture and spread red culture so as to promote the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy.Guizhou was the province where Red Army activities lasted the longest,covered the most areas and involved the most major events.Tongren,located in the east of Guizhou Province,is known as East Guizhou,which has rich connotations and numerous and diverse red cultural resources.Spreading the red culture in East Guizhou is of great significance in promoting the rural revitalization,the implementation of ideological and political education and the development of red tourism in East Guizhou.Under the support of national policies,media technology progress and other conditions,East Guizhou has carried out effective practices in promoting the dissemination of red culture through organizational communication,traditional mass media,new media and other forms.These concrete measures have achieved certain communication effects and improved the visibility of the red culture in East Guizhou.However,through field investigation and research,it is found that in the process of disseminating red culture in East Guizhou,there are some problems,such as lack of professional communication talents,homogenization of communication content,lack of innovation in communication methods,lack of active communication awareness and lack of red culture brand,resulting in unsatisfactory overall communication effect.In view of the above problems,according to the actual situation of east Guizhou,this paper believes that the government should give full play to its overall planning ability,strengthen regional cooperation,and constantly improve the construction of rural infrastructure and train professional communication personnel.In the process of disseminating red culture,we should strengthen the mining of red culture,achieve accurate communication according to the needs of different audience groups,make good use of new media technology,expand communication channels and innovate communication methods.In addition,it is also necessary to constantly strengthen the audience’s sense of identity with red culture,improve the audience’s media literacy,and let the audience take the initiative to spread red culture through strengthening cooperation with universities and other forms.Only in this way can we improve the dissemination effect of red culture in East Guizhou,give full play to the value of red culture resources,and help realize rural revitalization in East Guizhou.
