Analysis Of Psychological Needs Of New Cadets And Research On Adaptation Countermeasures

As an important part of future military cadres,It is very important to grasp the psychological needs during boot training.Because from the perspective of the basic links of adaptation,the generation and satisfaction of needs will have a major impact on adaptation.At present,there are relatively few surveys on the psychological needs of new cadets during boot training.On the basis of accurately understanding the psychological needs of new cadets,formulating a more comprehensive and targeted psychological adaptation plan has important theoretical value and good practical value.This research mainly uses a combination of interview method and questionnaire survey.Firstly,24 interviews were conducted on the psychological needs of the new cadets using the interview method,and the grounded theory was used to analyze the data.The Nvivo12 software was used to encode the interview text with a total of more than 84,000 words,forming 233 interview nodes and 341 reference points.The research initially found that the psychological needs of new cadets mainly include physical and safety needs,rights needs,interpersonal relationship needs,cognitive needs and self-realization needs.Secondly,an open questionnaire was compiled based on the results of interviews results,which collected specific items and improved relevant dimensions for the formulation of the formal questionnaire.Finally,a formal questionnaire was used to investigate the psychological needs of the new cadets.After examining,the overall Cronbach alpha coefficient of the questionnaire is 0.96,and the Cronbach alpha coefficient of each sub-questionnaire is also above 0.70,showing good reliability.The value of the correlation coefficient between each item and the sub-questionnaire is between 0.428 and 0.763,and the value of the correlation coefficient between each sub-questionnaire is between 0.561 and 0.709,showing a high correlation.After analyzing the valid questionnaire data,it is found that the most exuberant psychological needs during boot training are cognitive needs,followed by self-actualization needs,physical and safety needs,interpersonal relationship needs,rights needs,and emotions need.The research results also show that the average scores of the new cadets in the above psychological needs are all greater than 3,which proves that the new cadet’ needs in these aspects are very strong.Based on the results of the survey,this research intends to improve the new cadets in three aspects: improving publicity methods to fully meet the cognitive needs of new cadets,taking effective measures to meet the reasonable needs of new cadets as much as possible,and using group psychological training to meet the psychological needs of new cadets.The psychological adaptation status of cadets helps new cadets to better adapt to military school life.At the end of the article,the research also focused on the group psychological training plan,and formulated a detailed group psychological training program for the new cadets.
