Research On The Protection And Utilization Of Cultural Resources In The Ancient City Of Wuhu

The protection and utilization of urban cultural heritage in modernization focus on the protective development of cultural heritage.This is the beneficial model of modern urban construction in developed countries.Therefore,putting protection in the first place and developing and utilizing the historical context in protection are also the key points that must be firmly implemented in the construction of Chinese urban culture.As an important part of urban cultural resources,ancient city resources,whether rich cultural content or unique regional history,are the concentration of traditional culture accumulated in ancient cities.Therefore,it is of great value to study the protection and utilization of ancient city cultural resources,and also of great significance to urban development.The ancient city of Wuhu has a history of more than 2000 years.It integrates Anhui architecture,traditional pedestrian streets in the south of the Yangtze River,and water transportation and trade features.It is the birthplace of the city,commerce and culture of Wuhu.Since the last century,the municipal government has started the development of the ancient city,which has become an ancient signboard of urban culture after the restoration and restart.However,as the actual development of ancient cities around the country,the public experience more problems caused by pseudo culture and constructive destruction.It is urgent to coordinate the relationship between the protection and utilization of ancient cities,actively explore feasible paths and change the development model.This paper takes the ancient city of Wuhu as the research object,around the theory of the protection and utilization of cultural heritage,discusses the value of the ancient city of Wuhu,a specific cultural resource,and thinks about how to deal with the relationship between the protection and utilization of the ancient city of Wuhu.The article mainly clarifies the important role of Wuhu ancient city in urban development from the three dimensions of history,culture and economic development value by combing the protection process of the ancient city,the types and characteristics of cultural resources,etc.After that,a comprehensive analysis of its development status is conducted,based on the local reality of the ancient city of Wuhu,combined with relevant research literature at home and abroad,and through questionnaires and interviews,to confirm the six advantages of sound institutional mechanisms,superior geographical location,rich cultural resources,diverse cultural forms,strong cultural and tourism drive,and diverse public expectations.Analyze the five major issues of imperfect management planning,insufficient protection,the urgent need to enhance cultural connotation,the urgent need to enhance the cultural atmosphere,and the relatively lagging means of publicity and display.On this basis,it tries to put forward suggestions and countermeasures to promote the cultural heritage and value activation of Wuhu ancient city,guided by the four protection and utilization theories,namely,the principle of protection first,the principle of authenticity and integrity,the principle of sustainability and the principle of innovation.Then,from the two dimensions of protection and utilization,we creatively put forward such measures as rectifying the old as the old,creating cultural space,strengthening the protection of inheritors and projects,practicing digital initiatives,establishing cultural brands,enhancing interactive experience,opening up publicity channels,and integrating into urban cultural and tourism construction.And strengthen the construction of the security system in four aspects: policy,funds,infrastructure,and management for the implementation of the plan.The ultimate goal is to achieve the protective use of Wuhu’s ancient city in modernization,providing some thinking for the urban cultural construction of Wuhu City,and also providing reference value for the development of other cities’ ancient cities.It is hoped that the cultural resources in various cities can be fully exploited based on local cultural characteristics,to eliminate false destruction,and to use new colors to convey the ancient charm,so as to truly achieve the protective use of ancient city resources in modernization.
