| China and Vietnam have a long history of cultural exchanges,exchange and cooperation have always attracted the attention of the governments and peoples of the two countries.The first condition for cultural exchange activities is language communication between the two countries.Therefore,more and more Vietnamese students choose Chinese as their second foreign language,and even use Chinese as the main foreign language in their study and life.The number of modal particles in Chinese and Vietnamese is small but rich in meaning.Modal particles appear frequently in oral communication.For Chinese-Vietnamese,there is another common phenomenon of combining modal particles when using them.The combination of modal particles in Chinese and Vietnamese often makes confusion for Vietnamese Chinese learners.Luu Thi Lan Huong and Vu Thi Huyen Trang initially summarized how this phenomenon is used in the two languages.In order to improve Vietnamese learners’ knowledge of the phenomenon of Chinese-Vietnamese modal particle co-existence,and to grasp the similarities and differences of Chinese-Vietnamese modal particle co-existence in the process of acquiring Chinese-Vietnamese modal particle co-existence phenomenon,this article uses "A comparative analysis of Chinese-Vietnamese modal particle co-existence phenomenon and its teaching strategy",a comparative analysis of the phenomenon of Chinese-Vietnamese modal particle co-existence is carried out,and it is concluded that the Chinese-Vietnamese modal particle co-existence phenomenon is similar in terms of combination rules,combination levels,semantics,etc.,as well as the number of modal particles in the combination and the fixed combination.Differences in terms of gender,independence of combination,combination location,etc.This article also conducts SPSS test and AMOS model through questionnaire survey,hoping to study the cognition,the frequency of exposure and understanding of Chinese learners and teachers on the phenomenon of Chinese-Vietnamese modal particle co-existence,so as to help Chinese teaching for Vietnamese learners.We found that the frequency of exposure to the phenomenon of modal particle combination positively affects its pedagogical use.Among them,the frequency of exposure is most determined by the number of times the phenomenon of modal particles is used in daily communication,and the best measure of teaching use is the self-cognition of whether the phenomenon of modal particles should be included in the teaching content.The understanding of the Chinese-Vietnamese modal particle combination often depends on whether it can be translated into the corresponding modal particle combination in the target language.Through the analysis of these results,we put forward some effective suggestions on the teaching of Chinese modal particle co-existence from three foreign language education qualities from the perspective of teachers’ teaching and explanation. |
