Art Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)integrates fine art,music and drama(including traditional Chinese opera),film and television(including digital media art),and dance into art curriculum.Adhering to the concept of aesthetic education and the trend of artistic integration,the art discipline is undergoing significant changes along with the development of science and technology and the progress of The Times.Modern Chinese animation creators also take science and technology network as the carrier,adhering to the national spirit,combine modern popular culture with traditional culture,and set off the wave of "New Chinese Syle" animation.The "New Chinese Style" Animation combines the animation form favored by junior high school students with the content suitable for local culture,which is one of the important ways to inherit the excellent traditional Chinese culture in the new era,and becomes a comprehensive art carrier to attract junior high school students.The above content inspired the author to study its introduction into junior high art teaching.This paper consists of four parts except the introduction and conclusion.The first part discusses the definition and development process of "New Chinese Style" Animation,from the Chinese cultural characteristics,role building,audio-visual experience and other six parts to elaborate the artistic characteristics of "New Chinese Style" Animation.The second part analyzes the feasibility and significance of introducing "New Chinese Style" Animation into junior high school art teaching,expounds its feasibility from three aspects including teaching reform orientation,current junior high school animation art curriculum system and junior high school students’ preferences,and discusses its significance from the perspective of promoting the development of students,disciplines and the animation industry in the new era.In the third part,based on the results of student survey and communication in the second part,the teaching implementation strategy of curriculum development is sought.The fourth part,based on the previous three parts,selects the "New Chinese Style" Animation works suitable for the cognitive development,psychological characteristics,interest direction and art learning experience of the students at this stage,carries out the teaching practice in the three fields of appreciation,comment,design,application and synthesis and exploration,closely links with the participatory teaching method and designs a variety of activities.Guide students to learn the appreciation methods and character design methods of "New Chinese Style" Animation,and carry out creative practice with Chinese traditional mythological figures,to feel the combination of traditional culture and modern culture collision.This study focuses on the development of The Times and students’ learning interests and development needs,selects excellent "New Chinese Style" Animation works,explores the teaching methods to introduce them into the classroom,and designs lively and interesting art courses.It is hoped to cultivate students’ interest and enthusiasm in inheriting Chinese culture,build up national pride and cultural confidence,and form the consciousness and ability to consciously select and identify excellent "New Chinese Style" Animation.At the same time,it is also hoped that this study can provide new ideas and methods for animation education and the study of Chinese traditional culture into the campus.
