Translation Practice Report Of Chapter "Reconstructing Medical Images Of Qin And Han Dynasties" (Excerpt) From The Perspective Of Translation Prototyp

Most of the research on the history of the Qin and Han Dynasties mainly focuses on politics,economy,military and social culture.The medical development in the Qin and Han Dynasties also plays an important role in the history of TCM and the whole society.In Chong Gou Qin Han Yi Xue Tu Xiang(Reconstructing the Image of Medicine in the Qin and Han Dynasties of China,重构秦汉医学图像),Liao Yuqun analyzed the research status in this field,which broke the existing cognitive framework of the medical history of the Qin and Han Dynasties and supplemented the the internal historical research.He realized the complementation of"deconstruction"and"reorganization"and laid the foundation for the comprehensive and innovative historical research of the Qin and Han Dynasties.According to the Translation Prototype Theory and three principles respectively focusing on the original text,target text and integration,this paper discusses the significance of in-depth verification for the original text comprehension and analyzes the methods of optimizing the translation based on effective integration of re-translation examples and parallel texts,so as to get the original realistic prototype and improve the"realistic prototype".This translation practice report is divided into five chapters.Chapter 1 is an introduction of this project from three aspects: background,content overview,purpose and significance.Chapter 2 is about the process of translation,including: pre-translation preparation,translation process and post-translation proofreading.Chapter 3 is an outline of the Translation Prototype Theory and the translation principles.Chapter 4 is a case study of the difficulties in the translation of vocabularies,book titles,sentences and paragraphs.Chapter 5 is the summary and reflection of personal experience and shortcomings in this project.
