The Block Jin 607 lies in the south part of western sag in Liaohe fault depression. The structure feature is relatively simple in the study area, and the formation dip is generally around 3°to 4°. The study area mainly developed normal fault and was trapped by three boundary faults. Block Jin 607 gradually descended from northwest to southeast.According to the analysis of drilling well logs, Yulou and Xinglongtai oil reservoirs were divided into four pay zones which were YI, YII, XI and XII. Pay zone YI was further divided into three sand groups including 9 layers, pay zone YII was further divided into two sand groups including 6 layers, pay zone XI was further divided into two sand groups including 6 layers and pay zone XII was further divided into 2 layers. The sedimentary geology analysis shows that fan delta front mainly deposited in the study area which can be further recognized as underwater distributary channel, mouth bar, sheet sand and underwater interdistributary bay. The provenance was in the northwest. The underwater distributary channel was dominated in the study area and was the enrichment facies zone for favorable sandstone. The Yulou and Xinglongtai reservoirs were characterized by high porosity and high permeability. The porosity of each sand group ranged from 20% to 30%, and the permeability ranged from 100 to 1000md. The favorable layers were mainly concentrated on Y113, Y114, Y121, Y213, Y214 and X112 layers. The physical characteristics of reservoirs in the study area were mainly controlled by sedimentary facies, compaction and cementation process. Yulou and Xinglongtai reservoirs were at early diagenetic stage. There were oil layer, low production oil layer, oil-water layer, water layer and dry layer in the study area. The vertical distribution of oil and water was controlled by gravity. Pay zones YI and YII were oil layers, low production oil layer, pay zone XI was turning from oil layer to water layer, and pay zone XII mainly developed water layer. The oil layers developed well and were thick along the sand distribution and the number of oil layer developed more but was thin against the sand distribution.Under the combination of seismic property extraction and geology model building, this paper predicted the distribution of the favorable reservoirs. The prediction results from lithofacies model, porosity and permeability model showed that pay zones YII and XI developed well and XII developed poor in the study area. From the study results above, this paper evaluated the production effect from reservoir characteristics, production patterns, formation water and remaining oil distribution. The study results showed that the favorable area mainly concentrated in the southeast part, which were poor in the west. Ultimately, this paper recognized four favorable areas for further exploitation and recommended seven wells for drilling in the future.
