Referring to the compressible single-phase (or dilute compressible two-phase) flow and dense incompressible two-phase turbulent flow, theoretical analysis and numerical simulation are here performed. Model is presented for the first time to describe dense compressible gas-solid two-phase turbulent flow. Gas phase model is K f? εf, while particle phase model is K p? εp?θp. The equations of K k? εk?θp which can be applied to high and low turbulent Reynolds number flow field are deduced in details and the physical explanation of every term in the equations is given. The partial differential equations containing 18 variables are established systematically to control dense gas-solid two-phase turbulent flow in which the strong anisotropic property, variable density and variable volumetric fraction in two-phase turbulent flow have been taken into account, and the foundation is thus laid for numerical analysis. A CDIPSA algorithm is proposed for the first time to solve dense compressible gas-solid two-phase turbulent flow. The pressure correction equations of particle kinetic pressure and fluid pressure are established in which correction of particle volumetric fraction and fluid concentration is considered so that it can be applied to variable density and higher volumetric fraction case. Non-staggered grid system and velocity covariant are adopted. With the equations and algorithm presented in this paper, the numerical calculation program is developed. Numerical computations and theoretical analyses of dense gas-solid two-phase turbulent flow in vertical upflow pipe, in blade pressure expander, on sand bed,in JPL nozzle as well as in 90 bend are performed. The calculations agree well with the experimental data, and some flow characteristic of gas-solid two-phase turbulent flow are summarized. they lay foundation for efficient design and property of blade...
