Starting with the concept of the resolution of the hi-resolution seismic survey, systematicdiscussion on the relationship between the resolution and the signal-noise ratio and bandwidthand the effects on resolution is presented. Principle parameters and their mutual relation thatinfluence the resolution are analyzed from the time domain and the frequency domain,resulting in that the effective bandwidth and the center frequency are two controlling factorsto increase the resolution. Such key sectors as the energization, transmission and reception ofthe seismic wave, seismic processing and interpretation are analyzed, focusing on the factorsthat affect the seismic acquisition. The acquisition capability values of the availableequipment and technology under all influential factors are also given. Through the theoriticalanalysis, key influential factors on resolution in every sector are found out, and a quantitativecomputation of the influential degree of every factor is conducted by combining with theactural condition of the North Songliao Basin. Compared with the quantitive computationbased on realistic data, the influential magnitude of every factor is acquired. From the finalresult integreting all influential factors, the exploration potential of high resolution in theNorth Songliao Basin under the available equipment is obtained. the comprehensive analysison every factor and the corresponding method to enhance the high resolution makes theselection of the seismic acquisition method and parameters more scientifical quantification,thus accomplishing the purpose of hi-resoultion seismic exploration and perfecting theacquisition technology. The study is of certain guiding significance to the next seismicacquision and the acquisition cost will be reduced while the resoultion is enhanced.
