As a spatial information system to collect, store, manage, analyze and describe the whole earth surface and the data relating to geographic distribution, Geographic Information System has relation to the human existence and regional development, and has widespread application around the world. As a concept modeling tool to describe information and system in the grammar and knowledge arrangement, Ontology has been paid much attention of many researchers since its advancement and has been widespread in many computer fields, including requirement modeling, knowledge construction, digital library, software reuse, information index and isomerous information dealing on the web, and grammar Web. At present, along with the deep into service application like mobile GIS and LBS, researchers pay attention to how to solve isomerous navigable database. Through establishing the main body of Navigable database, we can achieve the integration, share and reuse of the navigable database knowledge, and achieve the navigable data inter-operation and sematic service of spatial information based on ontology technology. The paper takes "one project of Key technology of digital city -key technology research of Spatial information mobile customer application service", one of Shanghai technology development important projects for example, and compares ontology based isomerous navigable database integration and spatial information grammar service. The paper in whole concludes the following:The first chapter expatiates GIS, Geographic Information Service, Geographic Data, Geo-Spatial Information and Geographic Knowledge from the view of Geography with the way of summarizing and comparing literatures, which comes out from hotspot questions of Geographic Information Share, Navigable Geo-Spatial Database and Mobile GIS Spatial Information Service, and so on. It also introduces reality and geographic reality theories into isomerous navigation database to provide more information service for people's navigation service. That has some scientific values to a certainty. The second chapter expatiates the theory researches of the meaning, soringt, semantic network, discussion language, constructive regulation of ontology, and application in ontology re-information exchanging. The paper discusses ontology level of cognition in several aspects: geography conception, geography spatial...
