Reason of science is the focal problem in the philosophy of science. About this question there are several schools coming into being in the contemporary western philosophy of science, and they are the logical empiricism, historicism and postmodern philosophy of science. Many important theoretical issues such as the birth and the formative course of science, the demarcation of science, the method of science, the developmental mode of science, the progress of science, the aim of science, and so on, have the same essence that is searching for the scientific reason. The study of the relationship between science and reason is the synthesis of all the kinds of questions in researching the whole philosophy of science.
