High quality affinity membrane chromatograms having chelating groups with high removal capcity for Hg2+ were prepared by phase separation by the use of thiohydroxy modified polysulfone as membrane materials, N,N-dimethylacetamide as the solvent, and water as the extraction solvent. The best technological conditions of removal of Hg2+ and mathematical models of removal of Hg2+ were also studied in this thesis. The effects of blending ratio, thiohydroxy chelating resin grain size, the temperature of casting solution and composition of coagulating bath on the structure of affinity membrane chromatograms were investigated. The best process conditions of preparation of heterogeneous affinity flat membrane chromatogram were determined, and a heterogeneous affinity flat membrane chromatogram with high chelating capacity for Hg2+ has been prepared by the use of blends of thiohydroxy chelating resin and polysulfone. The sorption process of an affinity membrane chromatogram for Hg2+, adsorbed under various chelating conditions such as thiohydroxy chelating resin grain size, pH value, and the concentration of the metallic ion solution, was also studied. The results revealed that the more interfacial micropores were generated in the heterogeneous affinity flat membrane chromatogram with the increase of the thiohydroxy chelating resin content. It was beneficial to increase the water flux and harmful to the mechanical properties of the heterogeneous flat membrane chromatogram. The adsorption velocity and adsorption capacity of Hg2+ increased with the increase of pH value and concentration of metallic ion solution, but decreased with the increase of thiohydroxy chelating resin grain size. The greatest chelating capacity of an affinity flat membrane chromatogram for Hg2+ was 478 u g/cm2.memb under appropriate conditions, and the sorption isotherms of Hg2+ could be expressed by the Freundlich sorption model. The dynamic chelating experiments indicated that the Hg2+ could be extracted with the heterogeneous affinity membrane chromatogram and reextracted under acidic conditions.Chloromethylation polysulfone (CMPSF) having good properties of membrane formation and spinnatility was synthesized with Friedel-Crafts reaction. The CMPSF flat matrix membranes were prepared by phase separation by the use of the CMPSF/Additive/DMAC casting solution and CMPSF as membrane materials. This paper was concerned with the relationship among such factors as species and contents of additives, CMPSF content in casting solutions, temperature of solutions, etc. and themorphological structure of the membrane, microporous aperture, prosity as well as water flux of the membrane. It was concluded that these factors had obvious influence on the structure and the performance of the CMPSF flat matrix membrane, which could be improved within a wide range by changing thermodynamical conditions of casting solution. The effects of coagulation conditions on the microstructure and performance of CMPSF flat matrix membrane were studied. It was found that the water flux of the CMPSF flat matrix membrane was maximum by the use of 10% DM AC solution as coagulation bath. A homogeneous phase thiohydroxy chelating flat affinity membrane chromatograms with high chelating capacity for Hg2+ was synthesiged through the reaction of sulfocarbamide and alkaline hydrolysis of the CMPSF matrix membrane. The greatest chelating capacity of the homogeneous flat affinity membrane chromatograms for Hg2+ was 398 n g/cm2.memb.The effects of properties of CMPSF matrix membrane and reactive conditions such as reactive time, temperature and thiourea concentration on chelating properties were investigated. The chelating rate of homogeneous phase flat affinity membrane chromatogram for Hg2+ in the solution was measured. The relationship among the chelating capacity and pH, temperature, metal ions concentration of the solution was examined. The dynamic state chelating capacity of homogeneous phase flat membrane chromatogram for Hg2+ was 403 u g/cm2.memb. The homogeneous phase flat...
