Since the middle nineties of the twentieth century the research anddevelopment of the synthetic fiber have entered a new stage in somedeveloped countries, e.g. Japan, America and European various countries. The new synthetic fibers of special character are developed, for instance"Shingosen" is called as high comfortable or high feel fiber. A representativenew times is coming, for its appearing, the R&D of synthetic fiber breakaway from a pattern on imitating nature fiber, entering a new period of itselfdeveloping. In this paper we reported a class of polyester ionomers (in this paper it isexpressed with HCDP) derived from the polyethylene terephathalate (PET)modified through co-poly-condensation at random by a fully neutralizedsulfonate moiety; sodiosulfo isophthalate Na-SIPA or its biester e.g. SIPE orSIPM (for short, SIP), its polymer was called:Poly- (ethyleneterephthalate-co-sodium-5-sulfo-isophthalate )from 2mol% to 10mol% SIP ionomers range of compositions.Thepolyester's performance of SIP, which processed and treated after meltspinning, was ameliorated greatly and new higher qualities were endowed. Therefore, the study of HCDP catches researcher's eye and attachesimportance to it.In this thesis main experiments were done: a series of polyester ionomers with different contents of the SIP (0-10mol%) was prepared through co-poly-condensation and its structure and properties were investigated by1HNMR, 13CNMR, DSC, DMA, TG, IR and element analysis method, the ionomers range of compositions was ensured and the sequence distribution was analyzed. The micro morphology and hydrolyzed properties of HCDP were characterized. The relations between the various properties of HCDP were discussed. Main tasks as follows:1 The pure polymer: Poly (ethylene sodium-5-sulfo-iso-phthalate) was prepared for the first time. Its structure was characterized by IR^ 'HNMRN 13CNMR methods. A reference was provided to the structure analysis of the ionomers polyester.2 The felicitous techniques were ascertained, a series of polyester ionomers with different contents of SIP ( 0-10mol%) were prepared through co-poly-condensation and the mechanism of itself catalyzed function in polymerized process was investigated using 1HNMR, 13CNMR,DSC, DMA, TG, IR and element analysis methods in this thesis, the ionomers range of compositions was affirmed precisely and achieved the request for spinning of PET-s hyper >4mol% SIP ionic group concentration.3 The structure of ionomers polyester was analyzed using IR., 1HNMR, 13CNMR methods and firstly, some information was obtained about the sequence distribution of HCDP in the lower contents Na-SIPA ( < 10mol%). The sequence distribution of a series of HCDP with different contents of SIP(0-10mol% ) was characterized by !HNMR method.4 The molecular moving, crystallization and melting character of a class of random polyester ionomers were investigated. The nonlinear change of the Tg and crystallization and melting behavior were characterized using DSC,DMA, TS, TGA methods. Significant and systematic changes in glass-transition temperature and thermal characteristics on addition of SIP to the PET backbone were observed. The turn of the glass-transition temperature was found and the some information about thermally reversible change was gotten in the melting process, suggesting the presence of reversible cross-link and aggregation of the ionic species within the organic matrix. The crystal temperature had an analogy to those of the Tg. The experimental data were discussed in the chapter of the restricted mobility model of the aggregation in the ionomers. A theory foundation of the cause of formation was provided for studying further others properties of HCDP5 The hydrolyzing and dyeing experiments were actualized to a series of polyester ionomers fibers with different contents of SIP (0-6mol%) . The properties of the hydrolyzed speed, dye absorbance and water solubility of the HCDP fibers were investigated. The relations bet...
