Research On Making γ-Linolenic Acid (GLA) By Animalcule Zymotechnics And Using GLA To Prevent And Treat Cardiovascular & Cerebrovascular Diseases

As a kind of common and frequent disease, Cardiovascular & cerebrovascular diseases is so dangerous that it could led to be fatal, and is recognized as the head of ten greatest deaths the cause of disease. Hyperlipemia is one of the most dangerous factors that could cause the Cardiovascular & cerebrovascular diseases. Regulating the lipemia is the basic method of preventing and treating Cardiovascular & cerebrovascular diseases. Because this kind of medicines have many faults now, it is urgent matter at present that developing an efficient nontoxic medicine which could be used to treat hypercholesterolemia, reduce TG and increase HDL.The content of Gamma- Linolenic Acid. GLA in Evening primrose oil is about 3%'V5%. GLA is a kind of Polyunsaturated Fattyacide. PuFA and it can prevent and treat cardiovascular diseases, so it has been paid more attention. It is useful in treating hypertension, preventing thrombus, reducing fatty and glycemia, and defending caducity.Evening primrose oil and GLA have been used widely, and quantity of nature evening primrose decreased quickly because of overpicking, which result low quality and polluted environment. So we must find the method to manufacture the artificial GLA. Animalcule zymotechnics is a good method which has many advantages compare to other methods, Such as rich resources, shorter produce period, large output and little limits (materials, producing area, environment, etc.).We find a good thalli (Cunninghamella echinulata Thaxter) for producing by zymotechnics, and the process route and conditions of manufacturing GLA are presented in this paper. The Sporophytes ofCunninghamella echinulata Thaxter produced by animalculezymotechnics, which contain oil at 30%, or so, tallest amount to 36%. The oil contain GLA to measure to 10-14%s, amylose 2. 5-3. 5%s, SOD 800-1200 /g, amino acids 6. 2-8. 15%s, vitamin, especially ( VB1, VB2, VE, VPP), total amount to 12.8-16.3%, furthermore it still contain DHL, EPA, DHA etc. All effective components above of the biologic medicine produced by this thalli could act together. The curative effects after taking this medicine are better than the other simpleGLA medicine and it could also to be used to prevent and treat cardiovascular diseases. This is the creative point of our research.In this paper, we study the GLA troche produced by the thalli of Cunninghamella echinulata Thaxter. Furthermore, we also expatiate the analysis result of effective component, test method, medicament toxicology, pharmacology, and the curative effect in preventing and treating Cardiovascular & cerebrovascular diseases. All above are presented respectively in this paper.
