ObjectiveFirstly,to investigate the acute effect of air pollution on cardio-cerebrovascular disease hospitalization in Qingdao.Secondly,to investigate the effects of long-term exposure to air pollutants on cardiovascular risk factors?hypertension,obesity,hyperglycemia and hypertriglyceridemia?.It provides the relevant theoretical basis for the study of the health hazards of air pollutants and the prevention and control strategies of air pollution.Methods1.Data of patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases?ischemic heart disease,arrhythmia,cerebral infarction,etc.?admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University from January 1,2014 to December 30,2016 were collected.The daily mean atmospheric pollutants(PM2.5,SO2,NO2)concentrations,and temperature,air pressure,humidity and other meteorological data were collected.The effect of air pollutants on the hospitalization of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in Qingdao city from 2014 to 2016 was analyzed by a time-stratified cross-case study design.2.Using physical examination data of elderly people in Laoshan District,Qingdao City,Xichang District and Rizhao City from January 1,2016 to December 30,2016,the annual average concentrations of air monitoring stations in three cities from 2014 to 2016were collected.A generalized linear model was used to analyze the effects of air pollution on cardiovascular risk factors in elderly population.Results1.For the single-pollutant model,after adjusted for meteorological factors,an i ncrease of 10?g/m3in PM2.5 was significantly associated with 1.011?95%CI:1.0101.012?,1.010?95%CI:1.0091.012?at 0 day lag increase respectively for cardiovasc ular and cerebrovascular diseases;an increase of 10?g/m3in SO2 was significantly associated with 1.095?95%CI:1.0891.100?,1.102?95%CI:1.0961.109?at 0 day l ag increase respectively for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases;an increase of 10?g/m3in NO2 was significantly associated with hospital admissions on value of OR 1.060?95%CI:1.0561.064?for cardiovascular diseases at 0 day lag,1.064?95%CI:1.0601.068?for cerebrovascular diseases at 4 days lag respectively.2.For the multi-pollutant models,the effect of PM2.5?SO2 and NO2 increased by10?g/m3on cardiovascular and cerebrovascular hospital admissions has increased compared with the single pollutant model and the results were statistically significant?P<0.01?.3.In the stratified analysis of gender and age,it was found that the increase of atmospheric PM2.5 and SO2 concentration had more effect on hospitalization of cerebrovascular diseases in female population than male,the increased concentration of SO2 has a strong effect on the hospitalization of cardiovascular diseases in people under the age of 65,whereas the effect of NO2 on the cerebrovascular diseases is stronger in those over 65 years of age.4.Long-term exposure to atmospheric PM2.5,SO2 and NO2 is significantly associated with overweight or obesity,hypertension and hypertriglyceridemia in the elderly,but not with hyperglycemia.After stratification by age and gender,air pollutants and cardiovascular risk factors were positively correlated in male and those over 65 years of age;they were different in female and those under 65 years of age.Conclusion1.There was positive association between air pollution and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular hospital admissions in Qingdao.2.Long-term exposure to atmospheric pollutants is positively correlated with overweight or obesity,hypertension,and hypertriglyceridemia in the elderly.In male and people over 65 years of age,long-term exposure to air pollution is also positively correlated with hyperglycemia.
