Study On The Environmental Costs Of Car-painting

Recent years, there has been dramatic development in the automobile industry in China. Both the production and sales volumes of China's automobiles have exceeded 5.7 million and are continuously keeping rapid advancement. The automobile industry has turned to be the main strength of the industrial growth in China and the pillar of the national economy. However, according to over one hundred year's history of development in global automobile industry, the automobile industry is a high-pollution industry. It propelled the global economic development and improved people's living style. And meanwhile it has also brought the serious environmental problems and greatly damaged human environment. Therefore, to develop China's automobile industry, we should follow the strategy of sustainable development. And the realization of co-development of the automobile industry and environmental protection will have directly to do with the realization of the overall development objective for constructing a harmonious society in China. As one of the four processes in car-manufacturing, car-painting is close to ecological environment. Its process is largely related to the consumption of resources and energy and the pollution emission against environment. Regarding the environmental economics and existed environmental costs theory as the theoretical guide and reference, my thesis takes car-painting as concrete researching object. It has combined the ideas and methods of modern management and economics, under the precondition of sustainable development of social economy, with the objective of pursuing the balance and coordination between environmental benefits and economic benefits of enterprises. From the analysis of environmental costs character of the car-painting, it made profound research on the classified analysis of environmental costs, accounting of environmental costs, evaluation and decision-making of environmental costs, environmental costs controls, sustainable environmental costs improvement and so on in car-painting. It can bedivided into the following six parts:1. It reviewed the history of environmental problem and analyzed the condition of relating environmental discipline toward the environmental costs theory research. In this way, it proposed the objectivities contents and idea frame of environmental costs research in car-painting.2. It elaborated the effects of car-painting toward ecological environment, and made detailed analysis to ecological environment problems for all life circles of car-painting product. And then it proposed frames and ideas of solving environmental problems in car-painting. It developed the theoretical analysis to environmental costs in car-painting and probed the properties and changing laws and classified principle and methods of environmental costs in car-painting. Of this way, it made actual classifying to environmental costs in car-painting.3. It based on systematic analysis about environmental costs accounting theory research and actual practice from home and abroad. And then it made detailed elaboration towards the theoretical basis, delimitation and definition of object, classification of contents in environmental costs accounting in car-painting. Of this way, it proposed the methods and process of environmental costs accounting in car-painting.4. It proposed the decision-making methods of the environmental economic assessment on environmental costs in car-painting. First, it elaborated the theoretical intension, reaction and its using range of this method. And then it elaborated the specific realizing process of it and proposed the decisive objective system including two decision objective variables, which are Environmental Loading Value (ELV) and Manufacturing Process Costs (MPC). So that it built the mathematics model and decision frame model of environmental economic assessment on manufacturing process of car-painting product.5. It elaborated the meaning, control principle and control model of environmental costs control in car-painting and got into every life circle stage of car-painting product. It also made profound analysis and elaboration ofenvironmental costs control problems such as eco-design of products, environmental materials selecting, cleaning producing style, maintenance and usage and recycling of car-painting product.6. From the point of sustainable development of enterprises, it made profound research on sustainable improvement of energy environmental costs, water resources environmental costs and pollution managing environmental costs in car-painting processes. It proposed guiding principle and specific methods of effective energy usage in car-painting. It analyzed specific objective and methods for sustainable improvement of water resources environmental costs in painting. And it also elaborated methods of pollution controlling and the expense distribution of pollution controlling and so on.
