Economic Analysis Of Environmental Investment Of Coal Power Generation Enterprises

Coal electricity industry in promoting rapid economic development at the same time,also brought a lot of to the ecological environment and human health hazards,most of these hazards and not by corresponding to producers and consumers,the resulting serious negative externalities.Pollutants such as emissions from coal-fired power plants are considered to be the main source of air pollution.The government has formulated policies and regulations to force enterprises to make energy saving and emission reduction to improve environmental benefits.As the strengthening of environmental regulation and the enterprise to improve the understanding of environmental externalities,the enterprise must through the investment environment technology and the development of environmentally friendly products and other measures to the internalization of external costs,to reduce the environmental externalities.However,because environmental protection investment increased the extra spending,and makes the new environmental protection product cost increase,enterprises difficult to obtain profit space,often lack of initiative for environmental protection investment.As a result,the environmental cost internalization as coordination of economic and environmental problems,how to make enterprises when making investment decisions take into account the environment cost become important academic and theoretical concerns.This paper mainly studies the economic issue of environmental protection investment,how can enterprises make the initiative to invest in environmental protection to eliminate negative externalities of the environment?Based on the methods of internalization of environmental costs into the life cycle assessment system,on the basis of the existing calculation method of the net present value,human capital method is used to atmospheric pollution brought about by the health cost calculation,the enterprise's environmental protection investment and linked to the health of human beings,in order to quantify the social cost of environmental protection investment,to build the model of environmental protection investment,from the different Angle of view to analyze enterprise's environmental protection investment.The research shows that environmental protection investment has periodic characteristics,and the life cycle of environmental protection products can be divided into two stages:initial development and stable growth.When the environmental protection project runs to the later stage,the enterprise can achieve healthy and sustainable development through the product quality upgrading through environmental innovation.Economy of environmental protection investment needs the government and the enterprise participation,the government's incentive policy can dissolve the enterprise profits or losses of the problems of environmental protection investment,in order to promote the development of the environmental protection project,the enterprise through the production of environmentally friendly products to promote the recognition of the consumers to promote the increase of sales,at the same time to create new environmental technologies to reduce the cost to be able to generate profits.In the end,this paper analyzes the case of China Shenhua energy co.,ltd.and verifies the research results of the theoretical stage.The study not only enrich the calculation method of the internalization of environment cost,also to the environmental protection investment efficiency are analyzed,and provide a reference for the government to make relevant policy,for the enterprise to make environmental protection investment decision provides certain guiding,offers a new evaluation method for public supervision.
