The accurate processing of metal work piece plane mostly adopts abrasive machining technology in present. It is necessary of the consume of emery wheel and coolant, environment pollution in the abrasive machining technology, but mechanical and physical quality of part surface do not enhance. In grinding nonferrous metal process, the paste and block of emery wheel make it difficult to continue, which is the difficulty that has not been solved until now.The plastic and precise roller-burnishing process technology for metal plane is the comprehensive applying of the metal continuous partial plastic deformation technology and precision process technology in the metal plane, is the transformation of precise process mode for surface. According to the plastic deforming principle of metal under certain condition, metal would produce continuous and partial plastic deforming by rolling pressure, so that change and improve the final surface quality and property. Besides producing good surface finish, the kind of chipless finishing and strengthening technique can also secure increased hardness and wear resistance after burnishing, and, high-efficient, environment-protecting, simple arts and crafts, managing energy, managing material etc. Therefore, it is importable meaning of systemic study and exploiture to the plastic and precise roller-burnishing process technology for metal plane form the theory and technique.The characteristics of metal surface distortion to roller-burnishing process is little burnishing depth, partial plastic precision deformation, elastic and plastic deformation of idler wheel and work piece.
