| In this paper, on the basis of the study on the present situation of the comprehensive utilization of the mineral resources of tin and antimony in China, it is pointed out that in order to make the best of the tin and antimony resources, the situation of the tin and antimony industry which produce a lot of primary products and few products with high value with lagging processes, serious pollution to the environment, high consumption of the nonrenewable resources, must be improved. The problems of how to make full use of the resources superiority of the nonferrous metals, to develop the products of tin and antimony with high value and the lowest consumption of the nonrenewable resources must be resolved to keep the economy of our country sustainable development. Antimony doped tin oxide (ATO) nanometer powder, a kind of n type transparent conductive semiconductor material with good optical and electrical properties has great application potential in many areas and its synthesis processes have attracted much attention in the world. In our country, the industrial production of ATO is still unavailable and it has to be imported from other countries. In order to improve the status-quo the preparation methods of nano-ATO powder have been investigated and some upgrading has been made. Additionally, the status of the investigation and the trends in development of the microwave absorption has been also summarized and some research has been done about the microwave absorption performance of nano-ATO powders.Firstly, the nano-ATO powders have been synthesized with various starting materials using three kinds of methods and a novel synthesis process has been developed:(1) The nano-ATO powders have been synthesized successful with the hydrothermal method and the solvothermal method respectively, using Sb2O3, Na2SnO3-3H2O, H2SO4 and NaOH as the starting materials. The X-ray diffraction analysis results of the resulted powders show all the peak positions agree well with the reflections of tetragonal phase rutile of SnO2, with no additional lines belonging to other phases such as Sb2O3.(2) A novel preparation process of nano-ATO powders -... |
