The partial Oxidation of methane (POM) to syngas is one of the most promising alternative methods to steaming reforming. Compared with the traditional granular catalysts, the monolithic catalysts are more suitable to be applied in industrialization because of a lot of excellent performance due to their special structure and characteristics. In this thesis, we have firstly prepared a series of Ni based monolithic catalysts which will be used in the process of POM, and made a thorough study to the influences of the preparation conditions (including calcination temperature, the additives of promoters, the components of carrier) and reaction conditions (including reaction temperature, CH4/O2 ratio, space velocity) on the catalytic performance, aiming at a benefit exploration and a new angle to realize the industrialization of POM as soon as possible. In addition, since there always exist some controversial viewpoints and phenomena which have not been investigated completely and systematically, we also have stated our own analyses and understandings on the basis of lots of experimental facts, and try to give reasonable explanations. The main contents in this thesis can be summarized as follow:1. The calcination temperature exerts an important influence to the catalytic performance, the concerned results have shown that there exist a best temperature range which is at about 500℃, we advance a new theory that the catalysts performance has to be affected by the"mutual restriction between the redaction...
