There are many remarkable materials fashioned by nature, one of which is formed by the co-existence of inorganic oxides and organic molecules. This unique structure results in excellent properties. Besides, it is found that organic components can dramatically influence the microstructures of inorganic oxides. Based on the above founding, people have tried to synthesize a class of novel functional materials with unique structures and properties—inorganic-organic hybrid materials. In the synthesis of this kind of materials, organic component can influence the nucleation and growth of inorganic compound, and control the microstructure of the inorganic framework. By the interaction of the interface between the organic component and inorganic oxides, the organic molecules can imprint the structure information to the inorganic framework and thus obtain a series of hybrid materials with novel structures and special properties. Current studies on the hybrid materials mainly concentrate on the following aspects: the template-induced microporous and mesoporous materials, coordination polymers and clusters, and biomineralized systems.Taking into consideration the international studies, we have focused our study on the influence of the changes caused by the coordination position or conformation of organic component on the structure of inorganic-organic hybrid compound. The hydrothermal reactions of V2O5, H2C2O4, Ni(NO3)2, ethylenediamine(en) or...
