To find out the density, chemical composition, mineral composition and the chemical form distribution of heavy metal element of atmospheric particles in different function district, in spring, summer, autumn in Shao-Guan city, And classified study the probable contribution source. According to the result of source analysis, determines the source of atmospheric particles and the environmental contribution of each source. To settle overall, synthesized, reasonable basement for setting down the countermeasure and measure of prevention and cure air pollution in Shao-Guan city. The paper applies the basic principle and method of geochemistry and mineralogy, adopts modern analysis technical means such as ICP and XRF, GC-MS, XRD, SEM to study geochemical characteristics of atmospheric particles Overall. And applies CMB to resolve origin of atmospheric particles in Shao-Guan city.Research shows that the air pollution is mainly the fine grain ( Dp< 10μm ) in Shao-Guan city. The main composition elements in particles are Si, S, Ca, Fe, AL, K, Na, Pb, Zn and Mg. The total concentration of the 10 main kinds element accounts for the 90% of the 23 kinds element concentration. The 7 kinds elements of Cu, Cr Na, Sn, Se, Pb and S are the pollution element in Shao-Guan city. They exist in PM2.5 mainly.The content of organic matter has consistency with the concentration of atmospheric particles in Shao-Guan city. Where particles have high concentration has high organic content. It implies that the organic pollution source in each function district has unity. The content of 3 kinds organic matter (FLLU ,BaA, BkF) are highest. The study shows that BaA, PYR, BaP are representative matter in atmospheric particles, which means that the pollution source come from the combustion of high temperature.The microscopic figures of atmospheric particles can be divided into 6 types: chain-like aggregates, cluster-like aggregates, ball shape particle, irregular particles aggregates, long particle form and flaky particles. The main mineral components are Illite, Chlorite, Quartz, Plagioclase, Calcite, Dolomite and non-crystal matter.
